Bellagio99, you have reinserted copyrighted material from the UPenn website, which in its footer clearly has a copyright sign. It says nowhere that we can verbatim copypaste their contents, so what you have done with this reversion is copyright infringement. Just because text has been on Wikipedia "for years", does not mean that it is exempted from copyright rules. Feel free to rewrite it in a much less verbatim way (and with more reliable sources than just the man's personal staff website, which is WP:PRIMARY), but until then, the copyvio should be removed per WP:COPYVIO and WP:copy-paste. - HyperGaruda (talk) 07:30, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, you have reverted the removal of persondata. Please be aware that it has been deprecated, according to WP:Persondata deprecated and should thus be removed. - HyperGaruda (talk) 07:41, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly so, HyperGaruda! – please see below. Bellagio99, if you look at the foot of this archived version of his bio, you will see a clear notice "© 2001 THE ANNENBERG SCHOOL FOR COMMUNICATION". Please take care not to add copyright violations to Wikipedia again. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:13, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: https://web.archive.org/web/20050402053917/http://www.asc.upenn.edu/asc/Application/Faculty/BioDetails.asp?txtUserID=ekatz. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.)

For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:13, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
