Birthday
[edit]Two sources combine to give us a June 24, 1994 birthday (this says she was 18 in March 2013. this says her birthday is June 24). However this inteview says something about being hired to film before her 15th BDay which would have been in 2009. It is a bit odd to hire actors before June 24, 2009 for a film that debuted at 2013 Sundance Festival film. However, the interview also says that it was a directorial debut and it might have taken things a while to progress on a first film.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:49, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Better portrait
[edit]The picture used for her seems very poor in comparison to most articles about a person. It's blurry and she's facing totally away from the camera. Is there not a better usable picture of her? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nebisan (talk • contribs) 12:37, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
Requested move 31 August 2022
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: no consensus. Both sides have more-or-less reasonable arguments that are backed by policy, and (as often happens in pageviews-vs.-long-term-significance cases) there's no agreement as to which of those arguments is strongest. No prejudice against renomination if the actress's notability continues to increase. (closed by non-admin page mover) Extraordinary Writ (talk) 18:39, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
Erin Moriarty (actress) → Erin Moriarty – The actress is the primary topic. Only one other Erin Moriarty. Page views. Schierbecker (talk) 22:30, 31 August 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 09:48, 8 September 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 08:16, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose based on long-term significance. Oddly enough, I'm familiar with the longtime television journalist, but have never heard of the actress so if you just told me "Erin Moriarty" I would assume the journalist. Obviously the actress has a big fan base but that may be limited to particular demographic(s). – wbm1058 (talk) 18:23, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- Support – the actress is now clearly primary topic over the journalist. I'm not buying the "long-term significance" claim of the latter. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 21:13, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom. The actress is absolutely the primary topic per the evidence in the page views and doing a Google Search shows the relevance for the actress. In addition, having a disambiguation page for two entries is not useful or helpful for readers. cookie monster 755 01:03, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per wbm1058. The television journalist has been a presence on the home screen for about 45 years and has been honored numerous times, including nine Emmy Awards. WP:TOOSOON for the young actress to be primary over the veteran journalist. Perhaps in a few years. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 11:32, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Support. The actress is the overwhelming primary topic with 4,500 views per day compared to 66 for the journalist (that's 98%+). And with only WP:ONEOTHER article, a hatnote is just as good as a dab page for the tiny minority seeking the journalist. Station1 (talk) 18:46, 10 September 2022 (UTC)

- Oppose as WP:NOPRIMARY due to conflict of long-term significance vs usage. I just don't see any benefit to anyone by adding ambiguity here. -- Netoholic @ 12:54, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
