[edit]How did she afford gender confirmation treatments as a kid growing up in the Philippines?
Lack of clarity
[edit]The article uses female pronouns throughout, only describes the individual as transgender later in the text, and makes no description of the transition. The omission of detail and exclusive presence of female pronouns in the "early life" section confused me, and mistakenly made me assume that the individual was born as female, and possibly transitioned to male fairly recently, but this ran counter to the later text and pictures. I had to do further research to clarify that the individual was born as a biological male and transitioned to female.
I believe the article would benefit from stating that the individual was born as male and transitioned to female, or at least describe her as a trans woman earlier in the text, rather than just a "transgender advocate". Is there a reason why this is not written in this manner? 66.220.236.97 (talk) 09:56, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
