– The Evers-Swindell sisters are double-Olympic gold medal winners (in 2004 and 2008). They both retired after the 2008 Olympics and subsequent to that, they both married and changed their names. Consequently, they are most commonly known by their maiden names. Both pages were moved without discussion, with the reasons provided "because she got married and changed her name" (Georgina) and "she married in December 2009 and changed her name" (Caroline). This is contrary to Wikipedia:MAIDEN, where it is stated that "the general rule in such cases is to title the article with the name by which the person is best known" (emphasis as per the source). Both articles should thus revert to their maiden names to meet the underlying requirement of Wikipedia:COMMONNAME. Schwede66 21:37, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Support both. Never noticed they had been changed and would have objected at the time. Agree COMMONNAME applies here.Moriori (talk) 18:52, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
