Deletion 15 Apirl 2006 (result redirect)

[edit]

Is there really a need for deletion? She's appeared several times on WWE programming recently. EXCUSE ME!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.45.237.28 (talkcontribs)

She is playing a large part in the Chavo vs Mysterio storyline right now. Why was the article redirected? Clay4president 03:09, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
She is now a feature character on WWE Smackdown, having just "turned heel" on Rey Mysterio. I think its time she got her own biography, since she is a character on WWE programming now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.30.40.87 (talkcontribs)
I've unprotected it. Go ahead and create an article if you like. --Fang Aili talk 14:52, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
K, I've recreated the page. Now you can add her stats cause i dont know things like her full name and stuff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Killswitch Engage (talkcontribs) 06:28, 3 September 2006
I don't think this article should be deleted. Vicky is a manager/valet now for Chavo and is an onscreen character for WWE -Romis 12:28, 24 September 2006 (EST) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Romis (talkcontribs) 18:28, 24 September 2006
She's an official "superstar" having her own page now, at http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/vickieguerrero/ . Doesn't that mean the page should be allowed to remain its own? Romis 04:24, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vince McMahon's statement about royalties

[edit]

Requested citation: http://www.pwtorch.com/artman/exec/view.cgi/24/15359 FWIW, I also recall hearing McMahon say this when I watched the press conference. --Insley 05:47, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, we know, this is a fact. Govvy 13:28, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Christianity

[edit]

I noticed that she wears the Cross of Christ all the time. Do you think thats worth a mention in this article? Govvy 13:34, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unless it relates to her character, I really don't see the need.24.187.134.112 (talk) 15:20, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kaylie Maria

[edit]

Kaylie Marie was not Vickie's daughter. Eddie impregnated another girlfriend with her, back when he had that in-between relationship when Vickie left him during his struggle with addiction and demons. She was taken in as part of the family when they got back together, but she's NOT Vickie's biological child. 63.215.29.185 21:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for clearing that up. 64.241.230.3 19:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amy Zidian

[edit]

I read in WWE Magazine that Amy Zidian was fired for giving Vickie crap for not looking like a real Diva. I can't sorce it but I could scan the page and put it here. Worth noting? Killswitch Engage 04:47, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I seem to recall she didn't know why Vickie was there, since she didn't look like a "Diva", and she also didn't know who Stephanie McMahon was.Illuminattile 10:56, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not knowing who Stephanie McMahon is should pretty much call for automatic dismissal from WWE. So I really don't think it's got a lot to do with the whole Vickie thing. 172.135.244.23 (talk) 01:14, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, scan the page. The image is a source. Feedback 01:27, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think this was ever done. Should've IMO. Feedback 18:45, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mixture of kayfabe and non-kayfabe

[edit]

The article seems to mix kayfabe and real world events, I imagine it might be confusing for uninitiated readers. I think it needs to be made clear that the Dominick stuff and Vickie's anger at Rey/Benoit over Eddie's death is all kayfabe. Illuminattile 10:56, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update Needed

[edit]

This page needs to be updated. Vickie is now the officially recognized General Manager of Smackdown! and has been since September, even though her page currently lists her as the 'Assistant General Manager', a position now held by Theodore Long. 04:22, 8 December 2007 (UTC)DigificWriter67.169.253.173

Royal Rumble

[edit]

"At Royal Rumble, Vickie got into a match with her on-boyfriend, Edge, against her deceased husband best friend Ray and cost Ray the match."

I'm not registered, so I can't do it, but that part of the article should be changed to something such as:

"At the Royal Rumble, Vickie got involved in Edge's World Title defense against Rey Mysterio, in the process taking a 619 meant for Edge to the back of her head. Edge retained the title shortly thereafter."

Thank you very much. 172.165.172.70 (talk) 00:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pathetic you have ago at someone's grammar and then you can't write a grammatically correct statement.
It should read:
At the Royal Rumble, Guerrero got involved in Edge's World Title defense match against her on screen lover, Edge. The challenger Rey Mysterio a friend of her deceased husband gave Guerrero a 619 to the back of the head when it was actually meant for Edge. Edge retained the title with a well timed spear after a springboard attack by Mysterio. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.104.51.181 (talkcontribs)
No. There is ZERO reason to mention Eddie Guerrero. Also, do NOT mess with others comments. TJ Spyke 22:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

pov

[edit]

Isnt this line about her and Edge "the two also shared a long, disturbing make-out scene backstage" a bit pov I meen I know its true but it dosnt seem nutral ♥Fighting for charming Love♥ (talk) 22:41, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. Good catch. :) Gavyn Sykes (talk) 23:17, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling correction

[edit]

Under Vickie Guerrero's "Personal Life", whoever wrote that section spelt a word wrong. I have included the sentence where the correction should be made: "She is also a stepmother to Eddie's youngest daughter Kaylie Marie (born 2002) who was born during her and Eddie's brief marital [seperation]." In the square brackets, it is supposed to be spelt "separation". Please make this change. Thank you. 190.58.47.2 (talk) 16:58, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You could have easily done that. Mr. C.C. (talk) 06:26, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar fix please

[edit]

"Vickie acted as interim general manager of SmackDown! while Theodore Long was planning his wedding with Kristal[21], who he became engaged to in the previous episode of SmackDown!."

Should be "whom," not "who," could someone fix this? Gracias!

Personal error

[edit]

It says that vickies oldest daughter is Shaul, that is not true because in Eddie's biography, it says that Sherilyn was born first and Shaul was the second child of Eddie and Vickie's. Please could you make the change as it is quite an important error to fix —Preceding unsigned comment added by DoubleDCrazy13 (talkcontribs) 18:43, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This needed?

[edit]

I found the wording ("On November 13, 2005, Eddie Guerrero died of heart failure in his Minneapolis hotel room and was found by his nephew Chavo.[6] On-screen, this led to Rey Mysterio, Eddie's real-life friend, getting more screen time and higher profile matches, including defeating Kurt Angle and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 22 for the World Heavyweight Championship.) it seems the way it's read that Rey's push was pretty much caused by Eddies death which is both unnecessary and untrue; also I note that the so said fact of Rey just comes out of no where as he isn't mentioned in the lines above the quoted material. I propose the removing of the second sentence of Rey getting a push. Tazz (talk) 00:11, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Vickie Guerrero

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Vickie Guerrero's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "WWE Bio":

  • From Rey Mysterio, Jr.: "Rey Mysterio Bio". World Wrestling Entertainment. Retrieved 2009-04-14.
  • From Mark Henry: "Mark Henry Bio". World Wrestling Entertainment. Retrieved 2009-06-30.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 20:29, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse Me

[edit]

Surprised that the entire article doesn't mention her signature "Excuse Me" phrase which garners more heat from the WWE universe than anything else right now. It can probably be added under "signature phrases". Mayankeagle (talk) 19:54, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

feud with edge

[edit]

can someone fix the feud with edge and kelly kelly section, it has personal beliefs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.248.130.42 (talk) 02:25, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship with Dolph

[edit]

according to this article from WWE.com, Vicki and Dolph are not in a romantic relationship anymore, so shouldn't that be changed where it says she was his girlfriend when she managed Tyson Kidd for his one match, since I recall that happening after Ziggler and Vickie were on Raw.
