Single on other albums?
[edit]Was "Who's That Girl," or "Causing A Commotion," released on any compliation CDs? Seems odd that two very high ranking singles were never part of any other Madonna albumns

Album Sales
[edit]The following have a breakdown of sales: http://www.beautifulmadonna.com/charts/albumven.html = 6m, http://charts.mlvc.org/CHThist.php = 4.6m, http://www.world4madonna.com/charts/ = 5.0m, http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/syltguides/fullview/9VC2P5ADAK4K = 8.0, http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=41261&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 = 2.15m. From all these, and in comparison to sales defined for all her albums, the first link is noticeably higher than all others, so taking this into account, 5m is the avearge.

Soundtrack by Madonna?
[edit]How can this be listed as a soundtrack by Madonna when she only performs on four of the album's nine tracks? I can understand the Breathless album being solely credited as a Madonna album, but there are other artists on Who's That Girl apart from her and her contributions amount to less than half. 80.41.2.185 (talk) 21:43, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- The album cover credited it as Madonna album. Then, Warner Bros, Billboard 200 and other worldwide charts also considered it as MADONNA album. Bluesatellite (talk) 21:47, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Platinum in the UK
[edit]Who's That Girl album was certified platinum by BPI on December 09, 1987. Please search on http://www.bpi.co.uk/certifiedawards/search.aspx , type "That Girl" and search by keyword. There are 2 results. WTG single is Silver and WTG album is Platinum. Unlike RIAA, BPI did not credit Madonna on WTG album. So if you search by using word "Madonna", only WTG single is the result. Who's That Girl: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack → Who's That Girl (soundtrack) – It was moved in July by @Status:[1], the reason was "full name". I don't know since when it is required to use "full names", but after this RM there are arguments, like WP:CONCISE, that apply here as well. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 03:04, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
