The Journalism and Mass Communication University of Uzbekistan is the first university in Central Asia specialized on journalism. The University was established on the Decree of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan № 3737 on May 24, 2018 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Today, the university is preparing not only journalists but also professional cadres for media marketing, media design, press service. Students can use IT centre, modern library, open air training zones at the University. 50 professors, 10 PhD and 10 associate professors work at the University. From the first days, the University has been focusing on international relations and already established cooperation with more than ten higher educational institutions and media companies of the Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Germany, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
