Vandalism[edit]

It seems you, or someone else who shares your IP has vandalized the Nintendo 64 article. I'm rather new to this wiki thing, and the article on wiki vandalism has asked me to give you a warning, so this is your warning, I guess. SolarizeX 12:05, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have made a lot of contributions, and so I'm inclined to trust your edit to the binder clip article, but since your're anonymous I have to ask: are you certain that it was a Norwegian invention, or do you only know this from hearsay? Could you offer a reference so that interested parties can read further? Thanks, Joel 01:01, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Joel, sorry for the late answer. This IP is a shared, Norwegian IP. I, for once, use it solemnly for interwikiing, but I am sure a whole lot of other people use it for other contributions (I know this IP is used to edit in the Norwegian wiki). The edits are usually OK in the Norwegian wiki, but I wouldn't trust them with my heart. I am sure you have either removed or confirmed the edit you referred to above. Sincerely User:Opus- (who doesn't care to log in just to interwiki) :) 15:52, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reply: I`m no interested in binder clips, nor do I know anything about them besides their practical and improvised uses. My IP is shared by hundreds, if not thousands.

SffWorld additions[edit]

Hi, thanks for your additions. I'd like to inform you that normally when someone adds mass links from the same website, it is considered spam and reverted. I apologize if this sounds harsh, but we have to be careful on Wikiopedia. Can you tell me why this wouldn't be the case? -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 21:46, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Fantasy literature do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. December 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to StatoilHydro operations by country, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: StatoilHydro operations by country was changed by 143.97.2.35 (u) (t) deleting 8948 characters on 2009-12-16T12:20:25+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 12:20, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from Cirque brundini, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Shadowjams (talk) 09:01, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oil glossary[edit]

Hi. Regarding your test at Category:Published_glossaries, you should try formatting the information similar to one of the other articles, e.g. National Information Assurance Glossary. Then submit your information to Wikipedia:Articles for creation. You can use the Wikipedia:Sandbox to experiment and draft. Hope that helps.

(Also, I recommend creating an account. It's more private than editing "anonymously" as that displays your IP address. Just a username and a password is required. No email, or anything else.). -- Quiddity (talk) 20:59, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Battles of Lexington and Concord. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Editing-related comments belong on talk page, not in article. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Vegard Leite, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:11, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello 143.97.2.35. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Vegard Leite".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Vegard Leite}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 20:03, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Koenraad Elst, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 19:50, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
