Request reason:

We have recently changed domains and therefore have tightened security around this process, we need to update our page to make genuine changes about our info, this will be helpful to prospective parents and students

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 14:30, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

Thank yu ufor the reviewing the request please see additional info as requested, The Block was in place to prevent damage to Wikipedia this has now been stopped on site and students are no longer able to access the site and all are monitored by our on-firewall, I do understand what the block was for originally hence why I haven't appealed it until I fully thought that we could rectify the issue to prevent any harmful edits being made, we have now done this. we are trying to make useful contributions to our own page to help us a business, we have no interest in vandalizing pages and have previously dealt with the students which had vandalized the page. we only want our Marketing department to have access to editing the page, so if we were to be unblocked then we would create an account purposely for staff, this would prevent vandalizing. as you can see we have been blocked extensively int he past and we have now reviewed our protocols and implemented fixes that would prevent any further vandalizing and also deal with the people who have been found to vandalize and make hurtful comments. 195.62.222.210 (talk) 13:15, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

A huge concern I have is you admit you want to re-edit again to promote your business, which you admitted in your unblock request. Wikipedia is not for promotion, and it not designed to promote your school to "prospective parents". Also, there is no guarantee the security controls will work as well. Request reason:

I'm sorry but i strongly disagree with this, is it okay for incorrect information to be posted on Wikipedia? because that's what is currently happening. We are trying to update our page to be factually correct because at the minute it isn't. i feel most schools/businesses use Wikipedia for the same reason equally promotion aside it is still publishing incorrect information on our establishment (which we are trying to resolve) We have extremely improved our security controls on this to prevent anything like this happening again - we have spent a fair amount of time investing into preventing this from occurring again. 195.62.222.210 (talk) 15:08, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

While Wikipedia strives to be accurate, it is not meant as a source for up to the minute current information, which you should provide on your own website. If a school representative wishes to propose changes(not edit the article itself), they may do so by requesting an account at WP:ACC(or creating one at their home) and then complying with WP:COI and WP:PAID. That's the path forward for you. 331dot (talk) 15:15, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'll add that Wikipedia primarily exists to summarize what independent reliable sources say about the school, not what it says about itself. There is a role for some primary source information, but it should be proposed as edit requests by a school representative/official. 331dot (talk) 15:17, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
