Harold Bishop
Despite saying that I don't want to help bring another article up to GA status for a long while, I've decided to completely ignore myself. I'm going to try and get the Harold Bishop article up to GA status (maybe FA status one day). I think Harold was one of Neighbours' best characters and deserves to have a better article then he does now. I'm going to use the Pauline Fowler aticle as a guide to making the article better. If you can help in any way that would be great!
Oh, I saw your message on my talk page earlier. I'm glad that Dougie Swallow article was, eventually, deleted. I did laugh at the user who accused everyone of being sock puppets of each other. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 17:33, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. You might have seen that I've been going round editing the Neighbours character's infoboxes. I've been taking out all the unnecessary information, like whether a character is deceased. It just takes up room and users can click the link to see if the person is still alive or not (if there is a link). Also, the headings in the box say who the people are, like siblings, parents, children, it doesn't need to be explained in brackets next to the names. I think people can work out Libby is Karl's daughter if she's placed under the children heading for example, there's no need to have (daughter) next to her name.
- On an unrelated note, Portsmouth finally got some snow! We've had about 3-4 inches so far. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 22:50, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- Sam Clark has confirmed, via his Twitter feed, that he's only leaving Neighbours for 2 months. I've added him to the returning characters section on the cast list page. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:34, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- OK, but remember Twitter isn't accepted as a reliable source as per WP:TWITTER --5 albert square (talk) 00:45, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, okay. I'll remove it and wait to see if Perfectblend or Digital Spy report it instead. Perfectblend actually re-tweeted the post, so maybe they'll write it up and put it on their website. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 00:49, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Neighbours characters
Hey, I spotted you've been editing/improving Callum and Sophie's pages. Well done on spotting that spelling error on Sophie's page. Dancy? lol. How'd I miss that? I'm working on Paul's article at the moment, I'm trying to sort through and edit the information and add references. Did you see the vandalism on Rebecca's page this morning? Someone added that she was going to have an affair with Paul's teenage son, Andrew. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:02, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Lol, you didn't miss it, I misspelt dance when I added it before! Anyway I was going to message you later, I'm going to put together an article for the Lassiters complex including places like Charlie's Bar, Lassiters Hotel and the General Store. Can you remember if there are any other buildings in the complex? Also, apart from the gas leak explosion at the site that is now Charlies, can you think of any notable storylines that have happened there? --5 albert square (talk) 20:11, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- That a great idea! There's Karl's ex-doctor's surgery, which is now Toadie's law offices. Though I haven't seen Toadie use it for ages, so I don't know if he still owns it. Steve Parker's veterinary sugery was in the place that used to be the hair salon, where Lyn worked. I read in the forums on Perfectblend that the place was going to be turned into something else this year, not sure what though. The only notable storyline that I can remember was the 2004 fire that Paul started, which destroyed the complex. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:58, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello, 5 albert square,
I have reverted your change on Max Tyler because Wikipedia does not have strict rules. Also, there may be a Wikipedia:Waterloo Road WikiProjet started soon and you might want to discuss your reasons. If EastEnders WikiProject follow that rule they don't have to impose it on another WikiProject. Just to let you know, but I appreciate your viewpoint and where your coming from. Do talk to me about it, though because we have parallel views.

- Hi, can you have a look at the edits made to the Neighbours page today. A user added what times and regions Neighbours used to be shown in, however the information (and the same ref) is already there just explained differently. The Sydney market is the most important, which is why it is mentioned, but in the following sentence it is said that the show's transmission in other areas was varied. So, I think the information added is repeating what is already there. I just wanted a different view on it, incase I'd got it wrong. Thanks! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 12:09, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, have looked at it and reverted all todays edits because I really didn't understand most of them! The only thing I re-added was the info on Tom Oliver. Am so glad someone added that to Wikipedia, I watched the ABBA film earlier on, I KNEW that was him! You do know that now I've found that out I'm never ever taping over that film?! --5 albert square (talk) 19:33, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Excuse me butting in here, but the edits look like good faith- I checked when June brought it up, that's why I didn't revert. That doesn't mean they're correct, but it might be an idea to contact the editor(s) who added it and ask them about it. Best, HJMitchell You rang? 19:39, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hi HJ, I've done that but the editor isn't a regular contributor, sometimes months between edits so I don't know that we'll get a reply any time soon. I've contacted them explaining why I reverted, I hope that's ok --5 albert square (talk) 19:46, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Fair enough. At least you've explained it to them. Perhaps they'll come back with a decent source or perhaps they'll let it be! We'll see. HJMitchell You rang? 20:07, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

- Thank you for having a look. I wasn't sure if it was just me who couldn't make sense of the edits. I haven't seen the ABBA film, but think I'll have to take a look now. :) - JuneGloom07 Talk? 20:56, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome, I got confused, in one sentence it seemed to say that Brisbane transmitted at 6.30 and then in another I think it said at 7pm? And I doubt very much that Brisbane show episodes back to back! Oh yes, Tom Oliver was in the ABBA film from the 70s, he played their bodyguard, as a matter of fact I'm re-watching it as I'm typing this and he just re-appeared on my screen! You can see the trailer here he appears at 0.55 and then at 2.28, he's really quite good in it --5 albert square (talk) 21:07, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the trailer, Tom was looking good there. Quick question, do you remember when Rebecca proposed to Paul in a hospital room? Was is it after Bridget had given birth? I'm having trouble remembering. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:19, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I'm sure that Rebecca proposed to Paul after the birth. I'm sure I remember Paul holding India at the time and he was so shocked I was surprised he didn't drop poor India! --5 albert square (talk) 21:28, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, thank you for that! - JuneGloom07 Talk? 21:38, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oh dear, TV Week magazine has just released it's new cover on it's website telling everyone which Neighbours character is pregnant. I've already had to revert edits that mentioned this within two articles (I'm trying not to ruin the storyline for you here, I don't know if you know or want to know what happens in the new season), I reckon we'll be reverting similar edits over the next few days now. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:35, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, we could've added it if it had aired in Australia, but if it's not even aired there then we can't put it on here until that happens. Seriously though, ANOTHER baby? That's like the 4th pregnancy within 12 months! First Didge, then Libby, then Susan now this 4th one? There must be something in the water at Ramsay Street if they're all at it! No wonder they're having to make radical changes to Lassiters over February, my guess is a creche is needed! By the way, guess who's got her own page now? Susan Bower! --5 albert square (talk) 23:44, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- The storyline hasn't aired yet, it was mentioned in the trailer for 2010. I think you're right about it being the 4th pregnancy. Love the creche comment! They'll certainly be needing one soon. I saw Susan's page just after I left you the message. I found a little info and a ref for you to use, feel free to change what I added in anyway though. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:53, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Rebecca Robinson
Hey. You work on Neighbours articles quite a bit. But... your recent edit revisions on Rebecca Robinson's page didn't help. Declan's father is known because it was a massive storyline for for all characters involved. Declan never knew his father, but when Paul was proved not to be Oliver's father and her evil evil ex Richard Aaronow was, she also revealed that he was Declan's father after he sexually assaulted her, then she took him to court after all those years, but it came to nothing really when he was admitted to hospital with kidney failure... then died. Source.... I watched it. I'm sure with a little research they're are plenty of sources that can back it up. Just filling you in because you seemed to not know when it was revealed, as stated in one of your edit summaries on the page. Raintheone (talk) 23:56, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, yes I remember it vaguely but the trouble is all the sources I can find that comply with WP:RS all simply state that it was heavily implied that he is Declan's dad. None of them stated that he is definitely Declan's dad. Unfortunately I can't reference myself and say that I watched the episode and that is the proof as that would count as WP:OR. Trust me, I'm not new to editing and I know what is counted and what isn't counted as being a reliable source as I spent long enough getting The Bill and Neighbours up to good article status and I know that anything that can't be properly referenced either can't be in the article or has to have a citation template. I can't find anything that complies with WP:RS to state that he is Declan's dad so I've now put a citation template in it's place :) --5 albert square (talk) 00:27, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I guessed you weren't new to editing. I've edited it a little, I'll kick it into shape. TBH these articles need doing asap or they'll become the victim of a mass delete like Home and away's articles were. They need to be reading like Pauline Fowler really...... The Bill... good luck with that, that is a hard set of articles to get up to scratch. :P

You generally have to refresh the page when viewing a image you have viewed before, after an image has been edited, because the new version still fits the old image's resolution until it you refresh your browser.. can you crop and reduce the image then, there is way to much background to her... fictional character profile images generally are crooped, reduced to fit, and are portrait. All Neighbours ones are like looked at a panoramic view of NYC. :P Hows the editing going on other Neighbours articles? Raintheone (talk) 01:01, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry I didn't realise that, I've just reverted back to the version that you had. It was strange at first, still looked the same and after I refreshed it I got the top half of her face only (???!!!) but it's ok now :). I've not been doing anything much on the Neighbours articles tonight apart from correcting someone who thought that Libby separated from Dan in 2010, I'm sure Libby thought it was 2009. I'm not doing too much on the Neighbours articles at the moment, I'm really concentrating on trying to get Inspector Dale Smith (The Bill) up to GA standard, hopefully at some stage this year. That article is going to be a complete project on it's own, have you seen the length of it? And NO references! --5 albert square (talk) 01:12, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hello. You don't just have to refresh, you often have to WP:BYPASS your cache. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 02:11, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ah thanks Anemone, that would make sense now :). How are you anyway? I see that someone vandalised John Partridge before and some anonymous IPs keep trying to add rumours to Lucy Beale! --5 albert square (talk) 02:16, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Athenaeum, BBlessing
Hi, I see you reverted the deletion of the PROD template here in Athenaeum, BBlessing. Actually, removing the PROD template is permissible, see WP:PROD. Ideally, the removal should be accompanied by a talk page or edit summary commentary explaining the basis for deleting the PROD, but still, removing it is okay; that's how a PROD is contested. Your edit summary suggests that you were thinking this was in WP:AFD. You're right, those should not be removed; but removing a PROD is okay.
I say this as the guy who PRODded the article in the first place, and who still believes it is not notable. I'm going to give the guy a chance to prove me wrong, and hold off for a few days before bringing it to AFD (assuming someone else doesn't take it to AFD first). TJRC (talk) 16:12, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ah thank you for explaining that. I thought that deleting any deletion template was wrong, sorry for the mistake --5 albert square (talk) 22:15, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Since I'm stalking your talk page I'll chime in here! Any editor can remove a speedy deletion tag from a page you didn't create yourself. Any editor can remove a PROD from any article (they should but are no required to provide a rationale). Nobody should remove an AfD tag from an article that is at AfD (except the closer if the result is "keep"). If somebody removes a PROD, you or any other editor is perfectly within their rights to list at AfD but not to re-PROD. Hope that helps! HJ Mitchell | fancy a chat? 23:06, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Wah! Where did you pop up from! Sneaking up on me like that! Don't worry I won't get the lot of them confused again :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:23, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Note
Just so you know, if someone blanks a page they created, removing the CSD template with it, it's usually customary to retag as G7 rather than reverting. Unless of course, they just removed the template itself without blanking the page, which is a time to revert and warn. Just a tip. Thanks, ♠ 00:49, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I wasn't sure if they were trying to vandalise by removing the template or if they genuinely wanted their page blanked. Normally when I revert stuff like that Huggle asks me if I want to request deletion instead but for some reason it didn't this time.
- By the way, when you're responding to messages on a talk page using Huggle, how the heck do you reply without it blanking your page?! I thought I'd be smart and cool and try that the other day and I blanked my talk page! --5 albert square (talk) 00:54, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
You reverted a necessary change
I made a change to the entry on Pablo Escobar not to add content but because it is an incomplete sentence. Escobar is not just "well-known to...", a person is well-known for SOMETHING, some quality. People are well-known for their talent or their money or their good taste or an important job. You can finish this sentence however you want but to just say someone is well-known without saying what they are well-known FOR, is an incomplete thought and begs the question, why are they well-known? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.193.247.210 (talk) 23:03, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, I actually reverted it because, from memory, you said they were well known for vandalism but I didn't see anything to back up that claim --5 albert square (talk) 23:10, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

Alfie Moon
Hi, just wanted to say it wasn't necessary to add a reference to Alfie Moon in the lead section because the fact that he is returning was already referenced in the main text of the article. But aside from that, it's not necessary to add "language=English" to citations; it's only necessary if it's not in English as this is English Wikipedia. Also, date formats like "07.02.10" are confusing as it could mean 7 February 2010, 2 July 2010 or even 10 February 2007 depending on how you look at it. Thought I'd mention it becasuse I've seen you add citations that way before. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:05, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Anemone
- Sorry about that, I actually added the reference and then realised that it was mentioned elsewhere already. As for the language, I didn't realise that wasn't necessary and the date format I will try and remember to make it clearer in the future. Sorry :) --5 albert square (talk) 21:16, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- S'ok :) Just don't do it again. Or at least not on pages I watch lol AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- What is with all the vandalism to the EE pages tonight, especially Kat and Alfie Moons! By the way did you see that someone kept trying to vandalise one of your subpages the other day? Kept trying to add characters like Courtney Mitchell as returning. Much as I would love Courtney to return, it's highly unlikely without her dad --5 albert square (talk) 00:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I saw that. It must have been the same person who keeps adding fake characters to the 2010 characters page, and saying that Saeed Jeffery is returning and all that kind of shit. I protected that page in my userspace to stop them doing it. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 01:10, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Either that, or someone has wishful thinking :). I didn't realise you were online, I've asked for Kat and Alfie's pages to be protected because of excessive vandalism. I know that Alfie's return to EastEnders has apparently been confirmed by the BBC, but god only knows why people want to vandalise the page. Even the BBC's page got vandalised tonight --5 albert square (talk) 01:19, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- I was waiting for the pages to be vandalised again before protecting them since that IP has been blocked and if we're lucky it's one of those IPs that doesn't change, but if they do come back then it means blocking wouldn't stop them and then I was ready to protect. The Color Yellow - The Simpsons
Hello,
You wrote a decent summary of the latest Simpsons episode, but I believe its length to be excessive. Keeping in line with previous summaries of Simpsons episodes, I edited it down. It's not a stab at your skill as a writer, but in the interest in keeping things concise. Thanks. Oliviadimangano (talk)
- I'm sorry but I think you've sent this message to the wrong person. I have never ever written episode summaries for The Simpsons? I did revert something for an article before, I THINK it may have been called The Color Yellow but I'm not 100% sure, in any case I reverted it because there was no reason stated for removal of content so it was seen as vandalism and the offending IP was appropriately warned about removing content and not stating why it was removed. Other than that I've only ever reverted vandalism to the Ned Flanders page today. Sorry you have the wrong person --5 albert square (talk) 07:48, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

- Ah, it could be him. I thought I'd seen him before, but I couldn't remember if he first appeared in 2009 or not. Thank you. I've been working on something similar to List of EastEnders characters (2010) this evening. The 2010 episodes have been easy to go through since there's only been 34 of them shown so far. 2009 will be a bit of a pain, but quite a few characters were introduced that had an impact on the regular characters, such as Sonya Mitchell, Saffron Jankievicz and baby India. I think it'll be good to have the list of characters from the years, though I'm not proposing we go back as far as EastEnders. I don't fancy having to look up characters from 1985, but what do you think? Good or bad idea?
- Oh, someone added Janae Timmins to the returning characters list, I haven't seen anything to say she's coming back, have you? - JuneGloom07 Talk? 23:47, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, yeah that sounds like a good idea as long as there's not a similar article already. No I've not heard that Janae is returning though I won't mind if that's true! --5 albert square (talk) 23:52, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

(undent)It might be worth a small mention but I'd read WP:TWITTER first :) --5 albert square (talk) 00:55, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- It wouldn't be using Twitter as a source, so WP:TWITTER doesn't apply. I'd say it's worth mentioning. Lots of fictional characters have Twitter accounts, but are mostly run by fans (lots of EastEnders ones). Some shows like Girl Number 9 used Twitter as a form of viral advertising by having the characters interact on Twitter before the series started. It's fun :) anemoneprojectors talk 01:19, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

recent edit
Hi, I got this message from you. Can you tell me what exactly I did? I'm just getting the hang of this and didn't mean to cause any problems. thanks Yogainfo
---original message---- The recent edit you made to Zen yoga constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you. 5 albert square (talk) 01:08, 5 March 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yogainfo (talk • contribs)
- Hi, yes the edit looked like you'd removed the sources section without stating why. However I've looked at it again and I can now see that you only changed the heading of the section so I've reverted my edit. Apologies :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:20, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- 5 (mind if I call you 5?), did you get the left and right side of the diff mixed up? I do that sometimes :S anemoneprojectors talk 01:24, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hey Anemone, no I don't mind you calling me 5 :), yes I think I did get the diffs muddled up. I think Huggle also got confused in the edit, when I click on the recent edits link on the users talk page it shows me the differences between two edits the user made. It should be showing my reversion and the edit I reverted! Second time tonight it's done that :) --5 albert square (talk) 01:30, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
VII
I added the names of all the Managing Directors of VII.
The references to Frank Evers on the VII Photo Agency page are clearly self promotional.
There is no published evidence or no published references that suggest the agency prospered or expanded its business substantially under his tenure. Fact
VII should not be referred to as a Collective, it is an LLC and owned by its shareholders, the photographers. Fact
Evers left by mutual consent - he did not leave to launch his new agency, that came more than a year later. He left in May 2008 and the Insititute for Artists Management was launched during the summer of 2009. Fact
Lauren Greenfield left VII to join the Institute for Artist Management run by Frank Evers her husband. Fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Theconcernedphotographer (talk • contribs) 22:31, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I don't understand?
- From my records, the only edit I can find that I reverted of yours is because you removed information from an article but didn't state WHY you removed the information in your edit summary. It was reverted purely for that reason --5 albert square (talk) 22:51, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Corruption of characters in a recent edit
Your recent edit of the Bread article shows that you corrupted the Gothic characters in it. Be aware of this potential problem in your future edits. My (extremely limited and anecdotal) research on this issue indicates that it could be a problem with either Twinkle or with the MediaWiki reversion mechanism. DarkPhoenix (talk) 14:05, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry, as I don't have a clue what the gothic characters do or don't do in the article, or even why they're there, I assumed the question mark things were supposed to be there. But as it was, I don't think it was me, Twinkle or Huggle that caused it. In case it was an issue with Twinkle or Huggle that I needed to report, I looked back on the article. From what I can see that appears to be old vandalism that occured to the article, if you look back it seems to have occured around February 10th --5 albert square (talk) 21:01, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
I believe that the edits you were reinstating that had been removed as 'vandalism' look like unsourced POV (possibly with significant BLP issues as well). I have reverted you to the anon's version and removed your warnings from the anon's talk page. If you wish to reinstate those edits, please find a reliable source for that information. Cheers. Syrthiss (talk) 13:48, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I was about to go in and remove the information that I accidentally left in in the edit but you beat me to it. However do you have anything to reference that Sean Robbins left the band because of his addictions and that Mike Poggione is his replacement? I was reverting it because that is unsourced and I can't find anything to back it up but it's been left in in your edit. --5 albert square (talk) 14:00, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Justinehunt
You previously threatened User:Justinehunt for maliciously deleting the references tag on Mark Montano. Please check the history, I replaced said tag, plus the legitimate references to the article. He has deleted them twice in the last few minutes. Yes, some of the content that other users have tried to insert into the article is potentially libelous, the portions I am trying to reference are just notations of the fact he has a TV show and has written books, which are legitimate references to establish notability.Trackinfo (talk) 03:12, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but you have 100% lost me.
- I reverted this edit of Justinehunts. The reason I reverted it is because they deleted the tag. Without this tag you get the following displaying at the bottom of the article
- "Cite error: There are < r ef > tags on this page, but the references will not show without a :< references /> tag."
- In order for you to delete all references from the article you can delete the references tag but in order to stop that message appearing you must also delete each individual reference. That said if you did that, in this case the article would then fall foul of being an unreferenced BLP and sooner or later someone would tag it for that.
- The same user also kept deleting the date of birth but refused to say why this was being deleted in the edit summary despite being asked to do this. If they didn't understand the warnings then all they needed to do was ask and someone would've explained them.
- Continued unexplained removal of content is seen as vandalism. The page being constantly asked to display an error message and continual removal of the date of birth without explanation was seen as vandalism and was reported. The admin that saw the report obviously agreed as Justine was then blocked.
- You've completely lost me though when you mention about libelous information. If there is libelous information in this article then please delete this immediately. I only reverted removal of the date of birth and the references tag, nothing to do with libel? --5 albert square (talk) 20:46, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Libelous is perhaps the wrong word, though I thought I saw more than this. This is an improper edit of the sort that needed to be deleted.Trackinfo (talk) 21:07, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- If this is an ongoing issue, may I suggest WP:ANI as a more appropriate venue to get it addressed. However, as far as I can see, it looks like simple vandalism and the vandal has been blocked. Please do correct me (us) if I've missed something. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 21:18, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- HJ, are you stalking my talk page again? :p
- No you ain't missed anything :) that's exactly what I took the edits as being, nothing more than vandalism.
- Trackinfo, you can take it to WP:ANI if this is an ongoing issue though
- Btw HJ, did you read about the drama on the Neighbours set? --5 albert square (talk) 21:34, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
- Guilty as charged! No, I hadn't heard about that. I don't read the Aussie papers, though for some reason I read some of the European and American ones, mainly when I'm hovering around WP:ITN/C and looking for something to nominate. If the vandal's been blocked, btw, it should be a non-issue. I can't see anything that requires further attention.
- While I'm here, could you run your AWB over Lindsay Lohan for me? I've been helping another editor revamp the article and I might nominate her for GA when we've finished. Btw, when did you overtake my edit count? I'm not happy about that! >:( haha, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:03, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, what I'll do also is ask Wildbot to check the links on the article make sure that they're all in order :) --5 albert square (talk) 22:45, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry about that too much- there's a dab link checker I can run it through before GAN, but I'd appreciate it if you could find any fiddly errors with AWB. I can't be bothered to check the formatting of 181 refs, for example, when AWB can do it. I might ask for it, actually, How easy is it to use? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:54, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've requested it already, depending on how busy the poor bot is it should be along shortly to check the links. Saves you one less job :). AWB is quite easy to use once you get used to it. I use it quite a lot of the time mainly for checking grammar and spelling errors. I've been told that you can use it to replace templates etc as well and I think I've managed to work out how to do that. I was going to use it to replace the Neighbours infobox templates for the ex characters but I got told on Wednesday that I may be getting made redundant in June so kinda had other things on my mind. I will get around to them someday :) --5 albert square (talk) 22:59, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Heian period vandalism
Paintball250 (talk · contribs) made the same change to Heian period (only on line) here. I reverted the change and gave a warning. I feel a second level warning is in order, but I do not belive I should place a warning for your revert. --Chuck369 (talk) 05:03, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I see. I assumed good faith that's why I didn't warn. I'm certainly not going to warn them now though as it's nearly 24 hours after their edits so kinda pointless :) --5 albert square (talk) 20:18, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Stop changing facts on Jason Campbell
Please stop changing facts on the Jason Campbell page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by BubbaKnowsBall (talk • contribs) 14:51, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hi
- I didn't make the changes to revert facts on this person. How can I, I've never even heard of him before. If you read the warning on your talk page you will see that it was reverted because the edit that I reverted does not adhere to Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy. You cannot say that your edit "On November 13, 2006 Campbell was made the starting quarterback, in lieu of an aging but more talented Mark Brunell" is neutral.
- Can I also suggest as well that when you are using the edit summaries you do not tell other people that their opinions are not wanted and you do not type in CAPS. Typing in CAPS makes it look as if you are shouting.
- Also going by the amount of reverting that you're doing, I would suggest that you read Wikipedia:Edit warring or you may also find yourself in breach of this too.
- Take care --5 albert square (talk) 15:00, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Your rollback request
Hello 5 albert square, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 03:04, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: September 2009
Hi, sorry for the late reply, I haven't logged on in ages. :)
As I understand it, weasel words are biased, subjective statements or phrases. When I originally read the article, I didn't think to look at the references given and was unaware that an already emotive tabloid-esque word was helpfully modified by you to help prevent copyright infringement and 'water-down' its strength; I initially assumed that sentence was a personal take on the circumstances (hence labelling it as a weasel term) surrounding the Scottish broadcast, and I apologise for not assuming good faith and not double checking that section (I don't actively go about editing articles, I usually read an article of interest and if there's a typo or something amiss, I can't help but try and change it, so sometimes I don't look through references).
The sign on my talk page about good faith was actually made by me and you can copy the following when editing your page if you want to use it: {{Wikipedia ads|ad=163}}
Ah and London these days is the same as always, busy, cold, wet, windy and expensive! I have no idea what the weather is usually like in Scotland, but when it snowed in February, everything ground to a halt in London and such a big fuss was made, just for a few feet of snow! :P I'd love to go to Scotland one day, just to get out of the hustle and bustle of London and experience something new, but like you, I love London, couldn't imagine any other place like it!. :D

RfA Thanks
Dear 5 albert square, here is a little note to say thank you for your kind vote on my request for adminship which failed with a final result of (40/19/12).
Thank you for your participation in my RfA which I withdrew after concerns of my knowledge of policy. Special thanks are owed to Coffee, who defended me throughout and whom I cannot thank enough for the nomination; to 2over0 for being supportive and helpful; to A Stop at Willoughby for the thorough, thoughtful and articulate support rationale; to IP69.226.103.13 for maintaining composure and for a pleasant interaction on my talk page and, last but not least, to Juliancolton who was good enough to close the RfA at my request and, frankly, because an editor whom I respect so much found the time to support me! If the need for more admins at the main page is still apparent in a few months, I may try again. Thank you all for a relatively drama-free RfA and for providing me with much material from which to learn from my mistakes. You're all welcome to drop by my talk page any time.
