Manual of Style regarding surnames
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! I notice that in the article Alika Hope you consistently refer to the subject by her first name. Please review MOS:SURNAME; while this kind of informal usage might be appropriate for a different type of website, Wikipedia, as an encyclopedia, is more formal and refers to article subjects by their surnames. References to "Alika" throughout the article should thus be to "Hope". Thanks for making these changes. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 19:01, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
July 2016
[edit] Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Alika Hope. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). If you have any questions, let me know! :-) You can respond on my talk page, or here. If you respond here, please include {{ping|zackmann08}}
in your response so I am notified. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:38, 21 July 2016 (UTC) Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 21:28, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Ellen Boscov
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ellen Boscov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
