Kindly do a non-admin close for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tobiloba

Hello Bbarmadillo! I wanted to let you know I have done some corrections on the article Tobiloba and now should be considered fit for Wikipedia. Therefore I'll like you to do a non-admin close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tobiloba or do a 'speedy keep" for it. Thank you Kojomo (talk) 14:11, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

@Kojomo: sorry, but I don't think it is the right move to make. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:43, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
@Bbarmadillo: okay, kindly advice on what should be done and areas of the article that needs correction. Kojomo (talk) 10:46, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
@Kojomo: Please read WP:MUSICBIO. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:37, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 09:21, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello there Bbarmadillo! I just wanted to reach out to let you know that I have slightly modified the format of your non-admin close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fenty Beauty to match/comply with the instructions about where the header should go (inside the template) as outlined at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Administrator instructions. While a minor point, I also noticed that it probably should/could have been closed as "speedy keep" per criterion 1 of WP:SKCRIT "The nominator withdraws the nomination or fails to advance an argument for deletion or redirection—perhaps only proposing an alternative action such as moving or merging—and no one other than the nominator recommends that the page be deleted or redirected." Nothing needs to be changed (unless you want to of course), I just thought that I would point that out for future reference.

I also would recommend checking out User:Evad37/XFDcloser as it makes closing discussions far easier/quicker/more convenient and avoids formatting errors. All the best, TheSandDoctor Talk 06:26, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

TheSandDoctor thank you. It was very kind of you. Added this bot and will try to use it. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:23, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
You're welcome! I'm glad I could help. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. P.S., it isn't a bot, rather a user script, but not a big deal --TheSandDoctor Talk 02:34, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Maria E. Morris Miller

After creating the page Maria E. Morris Miller as part of the Women in Red project, I discovered another Wikipedia page with same artist but under the name Maria Frances Ann Morris. The artist seems to go by the name Maria Morris Miller in the official references so a solution might be to merge the two Wikipedia pages under the new name. Abonzz (talk) 20:55, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

If they are the same person, you can move the content to the correct article and request the deletion of the redundant page after that. Alternatively, you can set the redirect to the final page. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:58, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
What about changing her name in Wikipedia? All the books and museum websites refer to her as Maria Morris Miller (therefore not Maria E. Morris Miller or Maria Frances Ann Morris)
Abonzz This you can do youself. There is a "MOre" (with arrow) button with the "Move" option. Use it to rename the final page. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 11:16, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. However, the new title field does not accept any text when I use the MOVE option. I can use the "Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests" page instead. Is it possible to know why I can't move it myself?
Not sure why it is not working. I am not an admin, so you better ask someone else (for instance, Moral edits who welcomed you to Wikipedia). But yes, you can write such request. -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 16:33, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
I assumed you were an admin and wouldn't have bothered you if I knew. Thanks for your help!
I am not an admin and will never be, given my background of a paid editor. :) -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 21:18, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

Improve references at Albert Krause page

Detty1024 You are welcome. The concept is very simple. On Wikipedia every fact should be properly referenced, that is having a proof-link to support it. Please read this guide}. You can use [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Cite_web cite web template for web links and cite book template for the book mentions. I believe Google Books should have some mentions. Good luck with your edits! --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:38, 11 April 2018 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Atlético

Hi. I saw your message at Wikipedia:WikiProject Mexico/Assessment regarding Atlético. I looked through Spanish-language sources and hardly found anything useful about the art collection. The editor who created the article, Rogelio vazquez (courtesy ping), has only edited Wikipedia less than 3 times and doesn't appear to be active. I'm afraid the article fails in notability and verifiability, so I will likely submit to Articles for Deletion. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your contributions. Could you please try and rescue the page for the Irish band: Run in Red (band)? -- Schlossbergfes‬‬‬

Dear @Schlossbergfes: within my work at WP:RESCUE/WP:ABANDONED I only recover drafts that were declined for submission but present some value for Wikipedia. The article in question was not a draft, but an existing article and it was deleted after a proper deletion discussion where you participated. So, unless there are a lot more publications establishing its notability it won't and shouldn't be recovered. Please read WP:NMG for more details. Hope it helps. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:42, 15 January 2019 (UTC)

Your "speedy deletion" of the article entitled 'James Devoy'

The article is about a real person, and I gather that you are concerned that it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant. You may not feel that the subject is personally significant to you, but the article very clearly indicates why it is. To delete it without any discussion, or opportunity dispute your opinion, oversteps your role as a Wikipedian. I do not believe you could point to a reason as to why this inclusion is not significant, which would reasonably be anything other than your own personal opinion. Under the rules of Wikipedia - which I am quite familiar with - this article does state credibly why the subject is important and cites numerous reliable sources to support that. For simplicity, I would ask you to reverse your decision, but if that is not forthcoming I will re-upload the article within the week. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackf834 (talkcontribs) 15:22, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

Gabe Crecion notability

Hello, I saw that you posted a notice on the Gabe Crecion article indicating that he may not meet Wikipedia’s notability guidelines. Please refer to WP:NGRIDIRON, particularly in point #1, where it states that any football player who has appeared in at least one regular season or postseason game in the National Football League automatically meets the notability requirements. I have thus removed that notice. I am also in the process of creating articles for similar players who have played in the NFL for short periods of time. So prior to posting that notice again on any other pages, please refer to WP:NGRIDIRON to confirm if the page meets the notability requirements. Thanks Mrbeastmodeallday (talk) 22:02, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
