I wanted to add some information about a dark net site with active hitmen for hire, owned by Besa Mafia with the purpose to have them exposded to light maybe police will close their site down as they did with silk road

But you reverted thechange. What you mean by reliable source? You can check out their site and you will see they claim to have hitmen for hire and to be albanian mafia.. police should close them down but for that, we need include them in sites like wikipedia or news

I want to share my delight and was surprised there is nothing even mentioning the baby hammock one the hammock page. My recent contributions were removed from the Avvo.com page's business model section. I will copy and paste my contribution below, for your immediate and ready review. I'd like to know specifically what the reason(s) is/are for removing my contribution to the page. All allegations included in my contribution are not incorrect. It is how the website functions in reality. It may not be what Avvo wants publicly displayed, but it is absolutely how it works. The people need to know. I will take out the satirical opinion that the business model was originally developed by Don Corleone, however, I'd like an explanation as to why else my contribution, in your opinion, does not pass muster. Furthermore, if you could please edit the following so that it does pass muster, and then post it back where it belongs, that would be greatly appreciated. @75.89.100.210: I'm sorry, but this violates several of our most important policies and guidelines. The most evident are sourcing and neutrality. The content is wholly unreferenced and it is severely biased, to the extent it is simply impossible to add any of it to the existing article. If you want to collaborate to build the encyclopaedia, I encourage you to do so, but please familiarise yourself with the way we do things before repeating such edits. @Shinrindera: You reintroduced that information after I reverted you, so it was considered vandalism given you did no heed the advice. People without an article are usually not added to lists on Wikipedia, unless there is a strong reason to do so (usually because they're associated with a notable event, for example). And we certainly do not add external links to lists or into articles in-line. Your actions appear to border on advertising, given you pasted a link to the subject's commercial enterprise as well. If you believe the subject passes our general notability guideline or any other topic-specific notability guidelines for that matter, you are free to create such an article, then place the link. As for removing the talk page notice, you can either delete it like with any other page, or archive it. It is your talk page and you can edit it freely. Hi, Yes, I am trying to update the Northwell Health page. I do work here, but there were links to our old website that were Page Not Found. I initially inserted links to our current site, which I now understand wasn't the right thing to do. I didn't touch the copy, so I don't know why the copy isn't OK, all of a sudden. I am adding sources to key facts that weren't previously there.

I guess my question is how do I make this OK? Should I start the page over and submit it for review? Or should I try to clean up the current page with credible sources of information?

I regret if I have disrupted something. I was merely trying to correct a misstatement based on my first-hand personal knowledge and my servitude at the school. Felix sr. lived at "Elton" on the Kennett Pike and in Barnstable, MA, not in the environs of Noxentown or Middletown. The main building at St. Andrews was built to suit in the late 1920's; no part of it existed before then, and no part of the building had ever been a personal residence.

I didn't intend to do a test edit; I don't know what a test edit is.

Regarding your most recent talk page comment, I suggest you read WP:Civil, and further suggest you not assume What I know and do not know about Wikipedia. You have done NOTHING to justify your accusation, a condescending one word edit summary is not an explanation. You have also displayed An appalling lack of familiarity with both the subject matter and the history of the page in question, upon which you know seem to believe you own. Collaborative editing is something that needs to be practiced, not admonished.

Did you ever think my edit was correct and not the "reversal"? Did you notice my version is both long standing and cited? Did you notice the edits I was reversing came from an open proxy? You like throwing around threats of blocks, maybe you should focus your efforts adressing that violation. Close paraphrasing

Close paraphrasing is always a tricky issue. I've asked a question of one of the copyright experts in the English Wikipedia at User talk:Moonriddengirl#Close paraphrase concern. I'm quite sure your edits were well meant, and you've created some useful spider articles, but some of the text may be too close to the source. However, I'm no expert on copyright! Close paraphrasing

I agree that writing about spiders (and indeed organisms generally) does often require quite close paraphrasing. And it's common in the biological literature – I can easily find examples on my shelves of descriptions copied almost verbatim from one book to another. I'd just like to be clear what the rules here are, since WP:Close paraphrasing, although only an essay, does seem rather negative.
