- Well, I only fixed a formatting issue in the AfD discussion. But I just took a look at the article, and I agree with the nominator. Take away the sources that are actually about Qwiki, and there isn't enough significant, independent coverage left to support a separate article on the subject. That doesn't mean the subject isn't accomplished, just that Wikipedia notability guidelines do not assign the same weight to PR, alumni news, investments, and "top X" lists that the business world does. The Tangent Line
I see you redirected The Tangent Line to Mason–Dixon line#History. That would be fine but Tangent Line redirects to Tangent and the top two search results for "the tangent line" are Tangent followed by Mason–Dixon line#History. I reckon anyone typing in this phrase would be better off seeing those search results rather than being redirected to somewhere which doesn't mention or link to Tangent. - @Oreratile1207: I understand. But without a source, your edits will probably be removed on Wikipedia. If I add information without a source, it will probably be removed too. So the easiest way to stop people from removing your edits is to add a good source. It looks like someone on your talk page has given you an example of how to add a good source for that song. Thank you for moving Franz Klainsek article issue onwards towards the art section. I am new to to Wikipedia editing and want to make sure I get this right. Not sure why this article is still being submitted for deletion. Can you please advise on how to resolve the outstanding issues and format the article in accordance to the Wiki guidelines? Thank you! - Looking at the history of the article, no one seems to be concerned about formatting, but many editors have had concerns about notability, conflicts of interest, and copyright. So my suggestion is to focus on addressing those concerns. For notability, use references to reliable secondary sources that discuss the subject in detail. For conflict of interest concerns, disclose any connections you may have to the subject, following the instructions at WP:DISCLOSE and, if applicable, WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE. - I don't have an opinion about the article, only some vague advice about the process: deletion discussions take at least a week, so there's no rush, and even though it's tempting to respond to every single point in detail, it's best to give other editors a chance to weigh in if you've been commenting a lot. You've already shown how you've tried to address other editors' concerns, so maybe wait a bit and see if other editors think that's enough to keep the article. Yes, it does seem that this student try to create a few stubs related to their main topic (Korean variety show) but they are unreferenced and there are no English sources so it will be difficult to rescue them. And since the grades are out, it is doubtful any students will want to fix things. I try to make them finish early, there are deadlines and such, but there is only so much I can do... Deletion Sorting aviation accidents
The pages they get sorted to are- Aviation, Events, Transportation, and location of where the accident took place. If the accident is military, Military deletion sorting is also appropriate. I removed Ohio deletion sorting from WP:Articles for deletion/PSA Airlines Flight 5320 because there is nothing Ohio related about the accident. Not even where the plane was headed to. I did add Events and Transportation....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 18:46, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

- That's not a personal attack. It is a reminder that when someone says "I can't find sources on X", it is a statement about themselves and their own capabilities, not about the article subject. For example, if someone says "I can't find sources on this French author" it might be because they can't speak French, or don't have access to French newspapers. It's not insulting to say they can't speak French, and it's not a personal attack to say that they lack access to French newspapers. In this case, you've just said that you don't have as much free time as I do. Is that insulting? I don't think so. It's just a statement about different capabilities, right? Hello, a few months ago I took a lot of time out of my day to make a Wikipedia edit on the Covenant School (Texas) because I was very bored that day. A few months later, I checked up on the page that I edited, and I saw that it was reverted. I was wondering why you reverted it. - I reverted it because it was using promotional language like "visionary pioneers". Upon review, I see that it is also a blatant copyright violation, as the text you added is copy/pasted from the school's own site without evidence of permission. Please review WP:COPYVIO, as Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Also, if you happen to know BenOwen112, maybe let them know that they shouldn't be copy/pasting copyrighted content to Wikipedia either. Bakazaka (talk) 22:59, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

- In order: 1) Assume any text is copyrighted unless it explicitly lists a license to use it elsewhere. 2) By putting verifiable information that you find into your own words (see the paragraph beginning "Aside from limited quotation" in the long message about copyright on your talk page). 3) By contacting the school and asking them to release the content under a suitable license. Since you've expressed an interest in becoming a good Wikipedia editor, I highly recommend that you go through The Wikipedia Adventure, which is an easy way to learn about some of Wikipedia's policies and practices. - @Liz: Thanks for your note. I agree that notices to the page creator can be helpful. For U5 or spamuser G11, usually I send CSD notices when the user's most recent activity is within the last 18 months or so, or if they have been active outside of creating their own promotional user page in recent years. Usually I don't send notices for, e.g., a user whose single edit in 2009 created a promotional user page. Pinnakal last edited in 2009. Theoriginalplayboi last edited in 2012. Creating a talk page for a user that last edited in 2009 seems very WP:BURO, particularly since instructions vary depending on where you look (WP:DELPRO says "in some cases", WP:SPEEDY says "should", and the templates themselves say "consider"). I saw this comment, and I want to say that I had not taken that bit about being offensive into consideration before. My source of "inspiration" wasn't exactly PC. Hey! You recently referenced this essay in a very kind comment reassuring me that my contributions were appreciated. The really ironic/funny thing is, though, that I was actually likely one of the original targets of the essay's original author, who added the earliest draft of it where once had been a paragraph on specifically about me and other "people not really all that knowledgeable about the topic". The hilariousest part is that I later went to college, learned how to read sources, and confirmed that the original author of Randy in Boise had in fact been Randy in Boise himself, at least in the majority of his interactions with me (which focused on his ideosyncratic belief that "mythology" could not be a countable noun referring to the set of myths of a particular culture and that the plural "mythologies" didn't exist).
