[edit]Hi there, KatharineAndrew, and welcome to Women in Red. With your many interests, it looks as if you'll be a useful member of the project. I've just been looking at your last interesting creation, changing the title to Anstrud of Champagne as it sounds less German. With your interest in history and genealogy, you might be inspired to create more like this. If you want to cover women from other areas, you should find it useful to browse through our Redlist index. We also have some useful guidelines in our Ten Simple Rules. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 06:23, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
Just noticed you based Anstrud on the German article. For attribution purposes, you should in fact have mentioned this when you made your first edit. See Help:Translation. I've now added a translated tag to the talk page. Sorry to have to bring this up but there are unfortunately many matters requiring attention on the English version of Wikipedia. If you would like me to help you with your next new article, just let me know.--Ipigott (talk) 11:02, 13 September 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for creating the article. You should try to find better citations for birthdates since Find a Grave is not considered a reliable source per WP:RSP.

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
[edit]Women in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
