The article Alliance against Hunger and Malnutrition has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Might be a non-notable organization.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Daniel Beanland

But when the article's subject is the fictional concoction of a newly-registered vandal, how is it correct to have these categories? Mattythewhite (talk) 21:30, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

A quick Google search makes it pretty conclusive that this is a hoax article. The article's rather grand claims such as "He Had a Succesful First season at Fleetwood scoring 14 Goals in 18 Games" and "Daniel Completed a £460,000 Signing to Join Newly Promoted Npower Championship side Charlton Athletic" could not possibly have gone completely unreported in any sort of news service/search engine/statistical database. It is, with no uncertainty, a figment of XClapham (talk · contribs)'s apparently bored imagination. I'll take it to AfD in the hope of a swift delete result. Your edit of 'Dilazak' page for 'Catagory'

Dear Katharineamy, Thanks for your interest in Dilazak page. I understand that all non-Afghan and non-Asian people have a particular understanding of the term 'Afghan'. Therefore, I want to highlight few important and basic points which may help you understand the subject:- 1. 'The Afghan' term has two distinct meanings:-

  a. A person, citizen of the country 'Afghanistan'
  b. A person who claims himself to be an Afghan by lineage but is not a citizen of Afghanistan.

2. Generally Afghans speak 'Pashto' or 'Pakhto' as a dialect amongst themselves but so many (More than the Afghans in Afghanistan itself) do not speak Pashto but rather the languages prevailing around them. Same is the case with the Dilazak. There are very few in Afghanistan but a large number lives in countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia etc. From centuries they are settled in those countries and have become part of their societies, though they still possess their true Afghan characteristics.

3. In the light of previously mentioned points, our categorization of the 'Dilazak' page requires re-consideration because 'Dilazak' is no Afghan ethnic group of Afghanistan but certainly it is an ethnic group of Afghans living world over who have no concern with Afghanistan. An example would be as all British people are not Britons and they comprise of many ethnic identities, yet there are so many living in other parts of the world from generations. We will not call them 'Ethnic part of UK' but they would certainly be 'Ethnic part of the British people'

4. The correct category of 'Dilazak' would be 'Ethnic groups of Afghans'. It should NOT be 'Ethnic groups in Afghanistan'. I hope I have not offended you in any way. Regards 119.154.105.38 (talk) 09:04, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Katharineamy (talk) 14:29, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi Katherineamy. I take it you're getting emails asking about resetting your password? If so, don't worry - I get these fairly often, too. If you don't follow the link and change your password, nothing further will happen. I've blocked the IP address from using Wikipedia's email function, which should (I think) prevent them from attempting password resets.
Above all, don't worry; it is not possible for another person to reset your password unless they have access to your email. You can safely ignore these messages. Yunshui  15:14, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

The Truth is not Vandalism

Dear Katherineamy,

I note that you find censorship offensive. So do I. I am offended every time I see that you have censored my description of the Nursing Council of New Zealand as corrupt and malfeasant. I can assure you that the description is accurate and that no reasonable and rational person would disagree with that description had they access to the original documents that comprise the Council's "investigation" into a complaint of misconduct made against Registered Nurse Poh Sim Roberts. The complaint of misconduct was patently false and malicious. The investigation, lasting almost two years, failed to include a signed statement from the alleged complainant or a statement from the one eye witness to the alleged misconduct. Statements from persons who were not witnesses to the alleged misconduct [ all Nurses at Gisborne Hospital, Tairawhiti District Hospital] were clearly the result of collusion and amounted to ad hominem attacks on Nurse Roberts. Despite having no evidence, a dead complainant and no form of hearing the Council nevertheless found Nurse Roberts guilty of the alleged misconduct. This was ultra vires as the Council have no power to make findings - that is the function of a Tribunal. The Council decided not to take any further action. I am the husband of Nurse Roberts and a former senior police officer. I have all the documentation that comprises the Council's investigation. Had I been a serving officer in New Zealand I would have arrested and charged those involved in what was the making of a false allegation, making false statements and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. The complaint of misconduct was made after Tairawhiti District Health (TDH), Nurse Roberts's then employer, were seriously embarrassed in a Labour Department hearing after Nurse Roberts had been accused of professional incompetence. Amongst other things TDH were ordered to pay compensation to Nurse Roberts; remove the accusation from her personal file; provide her with a factual reference and also ordered not to mention the allegation to future prospective employers. The accusation of incompetence was also false and malicious and was a racist act by another nurse at TDH. The New Zealand Herald ran a front page article about the matter. Google "Traumatised Nurse Flees New Zealand".---- Stephen Roberts — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.3.105.217 (talk) 21:05, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

All that you have to do is provide evidence of what you're saying. Please feel free to add a paragraph, in encyclopedic language, with these facts and give a reference or two, which could quite acceptably be the news report you mention, and I'll leave it alone - but until then, I will keep removing it because by Wikipedia standards, what you're doing is vandalism. Katharineamy (talk) 21:10, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

What would you like? Copies of the statements? A copy of the findings of the NCNZ? A copy of the orders from the Labour Department? Or would you like to see the original documents? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.3.105.217 (talk) 21:11, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

Xuxa's article revert by thou.

Why did you revert Xuxa's article, where it's said she starred Amor Estranho Amor? She indeed has starred that movie! You do not even know Brazil, you do not even know Xuxa's 'glorious' career! Who do you think you are to revert things you don't know, from a country you have never been!? I am Brazilian (unfortunately, yes), so I have twice more authority to say things about Xuxa than you, mademoiselle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.68.35.146 (talk) 00:15, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Frank W. Dux

The edit I made to Frank Dux, that you reverted, was not vandalism. The "Kumite" event Frank Dux speaks of has exactly one(1) witness, Mr. Dux himself. With no reliable(or unreliable) third party sources to the event, it cannot be assumed that Dux was "clearly the best fighter there", or that he won, or was partially blinded during his last fight. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dubhanwillprotect (talkcontribs) 13:16, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Eccles and Jordan flip-flop-invention

Dear Katharineamy! Thank You for data for "Jordan"! Was one of my first tries with Wikipedia to ask for more information about Jordan. From 1985 to 2001 I started to develop 'Computerkunde' ("computer-knowledge"?) at a german Waldorfschool im Hamburg. And I always tried to get knowledge about persons who did the inventions for the "new technology". So Jordan with the flip-flop did together with Eccles one of the basic inventions. Thank You once more for Your work! I realy would apreciate to get a short notice from You. Remarkable spectrum of tasks at the right side! Best greetings from Hamburg! Herzliche Grüße aus Hamburg!

Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.154.105.38 (talk) 10:03, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
