Notability and creating articles[edit]

Hi! I thought I'd explain a little as to why so many of your articles are getting deleted and nominated for deletion in various formats.

To put it simply, the main thing the articles seem to lack is coverage in reliable sources that show notability. (WP:RS) By this I mean that the subject (for example, Guy Code Honors) receives coverage by a non-involved second party. For example, MTV's articles about Guy Code Honors would be seen as a WP:PRIMARY source since it's their show. Any press releases (here's an example) would be seen as a primary source regardless of where it's posted. A good example of a reliable source would be an article by a website or newspaper that Wikipedia considers to be reliable. (For example, this article in the Telegraph about Arcade Fire.)
