Information icon Hello, I'm Saucy. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Losha— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Saucy[talkcontribs] 22:54, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there. On what basis do you contend that this edit is "not constructive" and that a redirect of "Losha" to an obscure 2012 Bulgarian album is the only appropriate use for the term Losha? If you gave me more time, I would add more meat to the Losha entry and link to BBC articles and others which demonstrate that this is a valuable contribution. Is it standard policy to undo someone's contribution twice within the span of two minutes? Leenark (talk) 22:59, 10 October 2018 (UTC)LeenaRK[reply]

If an editor is adding an entry to a page that does not demonstrate notability and is a potential violation of Wikipedia policy, then yes, the edit will be reverted as necessary. We don't create disambiguation pages when there is only one extant article to link to. If you believe that the document somehow has historical significance and will meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for inclusion, then I suggest you use the Article for Creation process.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:04, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Leenark. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:55, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rae Sanni moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Rae Sanni, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
