Aegon Life Insurance Company Limited formerly known as AEGON Religare is a joint venture between Aegon and Bennett, Coleman & company. Aegon Life Insurance offers a range of insurance products for financial planning and life insurance in India.[2] ALI launched its operations in July, 2008.[3] Aegon Life Insurance(ALI) offers a complete product suite consisting of Term Plans, Health Plans, Savings Plans, Child Plans and Unit-linked plans.

Aegon Life employs more than 1500 employees, over 6,500 Life Advisors or financial advisors, with 70 branches across the country.

Distribution[edit]

Aegon Life's Online Insurance Channel reaches 172 cities. A number of products, including Aegon Life iTerm, Aegon iMaximize, Aegon iHealth and Aegon iGuarantee were launched to offer a complete product suite to the online customer.Aegon Life has a balanced distribution network through Bancassurance, Direct Sales Force and online products. This includes a direct sales force of more than 6,500 financial planning advisers, in 70 branches across the country and multiple bancassurance partnerships with private sector banks, co-operatives and regional rural banks. Through its distribution setup and partnerships, Aegon Life reaches customers in over 1000 towns and cities across India.
