- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.

Good day. Does this deletion mean I can never contribute on Wikipedia ever again? I'll be really glad if I could still upload articles here. My suspended post was an ignorantly, honest mistake.I'm quite new here and that was my first contribution. I honestly thought that box was for me to fill in my personal information, attached with link for proper verification by Wikipedia. It honestly wasn't for selfish reasons or to raise funds from this platform. Please pardon me and it'd never repeat itself. I have several legit contributions to make here. Please, I won't want to be suspended nor deleted from this platform. Please.
Thanks a million. Mikkyly (talk) 09:45, 5 November 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Awoyungbo Olugbenga
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Awoyungbo Olugbenga, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement of https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/08/meet-awoyungbo-olugbenga-jackson-aka-jacksonfirce-the-ceo-of-fierce-nation/. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. A couple of points you should know about
[edit]Hello, Mikkyly. I have replied to your query on my talk page, and as I was doing so I thought of a couple of other things which may be worth mentioning to you. Since they are more likely to be convenient for future reference on your talk page than on mine, I am posting them here.
Firstly, a large proportion of your editing has been unmistakably promotional in character. That is probably for one of two reasons: either you are editing on behalf of clients to promote them, or you aren't, but because you work in marketing and PR, a promotional style comes naturally to you. My guess is that the first of those two possibilities is more likely, but either way Wikipedia content should be written from a neutral point of view, and material which reads as promotional is unacceptable. Also if you are editing on behalf of clients then before you do any more editing you need to be aware of Wikipedia's guideline on "conflict of interest". The full guideline is available from this link, but the essential points are as follows. If you are connected to someone or something you have written about (a few examples are writing about yourself, your business, your band, a member of your family, your client) then you should be aware that Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline discourages you from writing about that subject. The main reason for that is that experience over the years indicates that editors with such a connection to a subject they are writing about are likely to find it very difficult, or even impossible, to stand back from their writing and see how it will look from the detached perspective of an outsider, so that they are likely to write in ways that look promotional to others, even if they sincerely think they are writing in a neutral way. Also, if your editing forms all or part of work for which you are paid, whether as an employee, as a contractor, or in any other capacity, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require you to state who is paying you, and what your connection to them is. (To avoid the possibility of a surprisingly common misunderstanding, editing is part of paid work if it is done as part of normal employment or as part of a work to a contract, whether or not a specific payment earmarked for editing Wikipedia is made.)
Secondly, much of your editing has been adding links from Wikipedia articles to other Wikipedia articles (known as "Wikilinks"). A Wikilink should be used only when it serves to help readers of an article to understand that article, normally for one of two reasons: (1) because the linked article has further information about the subject of the article containing the link, or (2) because the linked article explains the meaning of a word or expression which is used in the article containing the link and which a significant proportion of readers are likely to need explained. Linking to ordinary common words which don't need explanation is not only unnecessary, it can actually be harmful, because research has shown that the more unimportant links there are, the less likely are readers to find the important ones. NewsOnline Nigeria moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, NewsOnline Nigeria, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit] Hi Mikkyly! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Olamide discography that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. PhantomTech[talk]

Final warning
[edit]As should be evident from the messages above, you have been creating too many inappropriate articles, including many which were blatant promotion. The creation of inappropriate articles is disruptive and wasteful of other editors' time. Before you attempt to create another article, please carefully review our policies on notability, neutrality, and if necessary, conflict of interest. I also strongly recommend that, until you gain more experience, you utilize the draft and articles for creation review process rather than attempting to create directly in mainspace. Should you once again create an inappropriate article, it is very likely that you will be blocked from editing. Seraphimblade Talk to me 16:58, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- In my defense, i strongly advise you go back to other post i created that ended up being deleted. I am forced to jump into the conclusion that most people are out here, solely to frustrate people's honest efforts, feeling like gods in Wikipedia, which is totally unfair and really unprofessional. I have made some very vital edits here on wiki, how come no one came out to call them promotional But it's all good, maybe we should just leave Wikipedia for high and mighty.
- Thanks for pointing this out, i will also appreciate more constructive criticism. Mikkyly (talk) 15:13, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
- If I thought you had ill intentions in general, I would have just blocked you, rather than giving a warning. It is always my hope when giving a warning that it will make a block not necessary. But, while no one intends to frustrate you, Wikipedia does not permit promotional material. It seems you are rather a fan of some of the things you write about, so it's especially necessary in those cases to make sure you avoid editorializing and puff terms, and stick strictly to stating facts verified by reliable and independent sources. Just state facts, don't try to embellish them or puff them up. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:52, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you very much.
- I genuinely appreciate you pointing this out and not going straight to blocking me. But shortly after i saw your message, i got another message, stating i have been blocked indefinitely. How do i get unblocked? I would really appreciate your guidance.
- Warm regards. Mikkyly (talk) 07:59, 17 September 2022 (UTC)

I have carefully read on better ways to contribute on Wikipedia. I was warned severally about publishing promotional article, which i didn't adhere to. I have realized where i went wrong and i promise to stop all forms of promotional articles once unblocked, and stick strictly to making constructive contributions here. if if there is a need to publish an article, i will request general approval and edits, as against directly publishing it into Wikipedia's article space. I feel bad because I think you are very sincere. But ... your unblock request just still suggests that you're not quite sure you can control yourself. And I still don't think you've properly addressed the meatpuppetry allegations. So, I'm declining, and since these four requests haven't gone anywhere and are not likely to go further, I will be revoking access to this talk page after saving. You will still have a private way to request unblock, but ... I would advise against it, at least for a while. First of all, this doesn't really make sense. There is nothing special about English Wikipedia. It is not the "prestige version" of Wikipedia. There is likely a version of Wikipedia in your native language. When editing the version of Wikipedia in your native language, there is a much greater chance that you'll understand and be able to follow the rules, and you'll be able to communicate much more effectively with other people. Second, this doesn't address the reason why you were blocked. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 18:41, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
