Speedy deletion nomination of Pharmacycpa
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Pharmacycpa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 22:53, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Apec exam
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Apec exam, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Morgankevinj(talk) 16:01, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article, Apec exam. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Fundamentals of Engineering exam. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. The article Wojtek bereza has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Hey, I noticed someone got to it before me, but cavoodle has been turned back into a redirect. There was a discussion at this page that resulted in an, albeit weak, consensus to merge as it wasn't sufficiently notable for its own article. I've copied your article-in-progress to Draft:Cavoodle so you can work on it in a draft space without worrying about people removing the work you've done, but please remember that you'll need to find multiple examples of significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject in order to show that the article should be permitted on Wikipedia. The best sources to use would be news articles (such as newspapers, reputable news websites, etc) and other secondary sources. Sources which publish articles "for pay" or similar, blogs, and the like will not count. Note that they must do more than just mention the name "cavoodle", a significant portion of the source should be about the subject of the article. Please ping me if you have any questions. -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez (User/say hi!) 06:55, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- Right, thanks for this. Yes, I have read the previous issues associated with this article historically, however since there have been quite a few independent reliable sources publishing articles about Cavoodles (see references in the draft, most notably News.com.au, Informit, About Regional and even a book called Mad Marathon. I'm not sure the threshold of notability which is needed however, I will do some extra edits to flesh out the article somewhat and then republish.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Minisini (talk • contribs)
- Hey. I saw your reply here and figured I'd pop in. I don't personally feel the news.com.au source (source 1) qualifies as "significant coverage" - it is merely passing mentions of the breed in a "top 20 dog breeds" list. Likewise for the riotact source. I can't access the book source online quickly, but google books says the term Cavoodle only appears once in the book - that's again almost certainly not "significant coverage". The link to the informit (source 3) may be okay but the link links to something completely different at least for me - double check this link. The three sources at the end are all insignificant - they are all about something other than cavoodles and cavoodles are merely mentioned in passing as part of the article. This unfortunately is not what "articles about Cavoodles" means. These articles you have found do all say the word cavoodles - and some of them even have a sentence or two about the cavoodle - but that doesn't make it significant coverage of cavoodles, nor does it make them "about cavoodles". The threshold for the general notability guideline is somewhere around 2-4 sources, depending on their stature (i.e. an entire book that was on a bestseller list would only require one other source probably, but if all you have are more minor mentions or minor sources then you'd need more). Unfortunately, right now, the sources you've given are maybe one "source's worth" of coverage if you look at them as a whole - and I think that is a stretch because as I said none of them are significant coverage - meaning right now it has zero sources towards notability.This is why, in fact, editors decided to merge it before - not because sources don't exist, but because they weren't sufficient to establish that this breed needs its own article. Wikipedia isn't a "compendium of everything" - it's an encyclopedia. Some topics, while they may be important or something you yourself care about, do not merit inclusion on their own in an encyclopedia. I'm quite busy in real life - but I'll try to pop back in here if you have more questions. Regards -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez (User/say hi!) 01:24, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hello there, I too have just been alerted to Draft:Cavoodle and must agree with Berchanhimez, there are still insufficient sources that provide significant coverage of the Cavoodle crossbreed to warrant a stand alone article, and further the draft relies a lot on synthesis from the sources that are cited. There is no question that the crossbreed does exist, which is why they are covered at list of dog crossbreeds and when suitable sources emerge (I am sure they will one day) the article can be recreated. Regards, Cavalryman (talk) 10:56, 12 January 2021 (UTC).

An article you recently created, HubNet.io, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article Andy Bereza has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not a notable sound engineer. Sources show a role in developing Portastudio, but no significant coverage in reliable sources. Article was created by a UPE, connected to someone with the same surname.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fences&Windows 02:49, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
