Proposed deletion of Dinner with Lloyd (2014)

[edit]

The article Dinner with Lloyd (2014) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NOTFILM.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. reddogsix (talk) 03:59, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dinner with Lloyd (2014) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.pr.com/press-release/569421. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 06:43, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dwayne Buckle, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.mediabang.org/name-736844-dwayne-buckle.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Hello, Moviemoguls. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Dwayne Buckle, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 03:14, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Dwayne Buckle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Moviemoguls. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

Speedy deletion nomination of Dwayne Buckle

[edit]

Hello Moviemoguls,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dwayne Buckle for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was created in violation of a block or ban. Content created by banned users will be deleted immediately.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Sock (tock talk) 15:38, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you reinstate the Dwayne Buckle article and prevent it from being vandalized and deleted, and please unblock this account, I am being assailed by users who may or not be the same person.

Hello Moviemoguls. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. The article will not be reinstated, as it was deleted as the result of a deletion discussion: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dwayne Buckle (2nd nomination). He is not considered to be notable enough, as Wikipedia defines it, to qualify for an article at this time. This account will not be unblocked, because technical evidence found by our experts has shown that it is editing from the same IP using the same computer as the several other accounts listed at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cybornetics. -- Diannaa (talk) 01:23, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dwayne Buckle has stronger references than at least 100 people currently with full blown Wikipedia articles, eg: Carson Grant, in fairness, once the list to the other 99 articles are provided, we are requesting deletion of all articles.

{{help me}} Please help me

If Dwayne Buckle is more notable and has more verifiable references than at least 100 people currently with full blown Wikipedia articles, eg: Carson Grant, in fairness, once the other articles are provided, we are requesting deletion of all articles, if these articles are kept up and the Dwayne Buckle article is kept down, Wikipedia is extremely unfair, and I would say border-line white supremacist organization, so why is he being penalized?

You're going to have to state what your question is specifically. As for the white supremacist accusation, that is extremely rude and can be taken as personal attacks, especially considering some of us (including me) are definitely not white.. Feel free to use {{helpme}} for actual questions next time. --L235 (talk) Ping when replying 05:27, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Question is, Why are mediocre articles left up while important articles deleted? Why do people have the power to delete information that can be validated? Why is innovation being suppressed? Galileo was also suppressed in his time. You don't have to be white to be a white-supremacist, white supremacy is an ideology more than it has to do with your race. White supremacy is when innovation from non-whites becomes suppressed. --moviemoguls (talk) Ping when replying 06:22, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also it appears Dwayne Buckle is an innovator, his innovations have been systematically deleted and blocked from gaining public awareness, it appears the 2nd deletion nomination was in 2012 when subject had one feature film in release, but that still applies to 2015 when the subject has 5 more films in release, subject has far more references than many existing articles on Wikipedia. It appears the innovations of Dwayne Buckle are too swift for people to comprehend so he will be penalized for that. They are still stuck in 2012 or better yet 2006, while it seems that Dwayne Buckle looks forward to the Future.

These repetetive demands have already been answered above, and are now becoming disruptive. To reiterate: in order to restore the article about Dwayne Buckle, you will need to do the following:

  1. Succesfully request unblocking (via your original account)
  2. File a deletion review at WP:DRV
  3. Provide multiple, independent, reliable sources which contain significant coverage of Mr Buckle

Since you continue to use your talkpage for inappropriate help requests and demands, I am removing your access to it. You may use your original talkpage at User talk:Cybornetics, or the Unblock Ticket Request Service if you wish to appeal the block. Yunshui  08:41, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
