Could you please give some explanation on the link you are adding to the top of the list on many pages. This behaviour is explaine here as spamming, and is possibly in violation of what wikipedia is not. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:01, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Still, we are not a linkfarm or a repository of links. Please consider uploading the images or expanding the text. After all, we are writing an encyclopedia here. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:07, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All (but one) of these links now in Wikipedia have been added by you. May I ask you to first contact an appropriate wikiproject. I am not sure if these links are suitable (see also the external links guideline), and certainly not on the top of the list.

:As you say that you are from Canada, as is the server this site is hosted on, may I ask if you are in any way involved in the site? --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:12, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And, no, we don't have to link to information, links have to be adding to the article etc. etc. Wikipedia would be more helped with content. --Dirk Beetstra T C 14:14, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to WP:MED and WP:Pathology

[edit]

I see that you've been editing medicine related articles (from your contributions) and note that you describe yourself as a pathologist (on your user page).

We have a place where the medically minded people hang out: WikiProject Medicine (WP:MED). You are invited to join or just browse the talk page, which is also known as the doctors' mess and always busy.

There is also project devoted solely to pathology (WP:PATH). You'll find a few pathologists there and some discussion related to the pathology articles in Wikipedia.

If you're looking for info on how to do references in Wikipedia (for medical articles) see: WP:MEDMOS. I look forward to more of your edits. If you have any questions or just want to say hello, you can contact me on my talk page. Nephron  T|C 17:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article CARTaGENE has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:21, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is your own website? Are the images compatible with the copyright of Wikipedia (ie. CC3.0 BY SA)? If they are we could upload them here. We do not however typically link to sites containing images as they can be found by a google image search. Cheers --Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 18:25, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It would be great if they would release some of their photos under a creative commons 3.0 BY SA license as money of them are excellent and would really add to Wikipedia. Do you know who owns the copyright to these images now? I have had a copy of organizations agree to release there images under a CC license. Much better than external links and they and their site would get create under the image attribution.--Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 16:57, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 100K Genome Project, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NCBI (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Dinaciclib requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. N4 (talk) 14:50, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Patho~enwiki,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytopathology, may be copied from http://www.pathologyoutlines.com/topic/thyroidascpfineneedlediagnosis.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 10:22, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Colorectal adenoma

[edit]

Hello Patho,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Colorectal adenoma for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. 97rob (talk) 21:56, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
