David Carradine[edit]

You recently added "raising himself alongside his family in San Francisco's neighborly city of Oakland". But I don't know what that adds. It already said that he graduated from Oakland high school, so it stands to reason that he lived in Oakland. What does "raising himself alongside his family mean"? [He lived with his mother until he dropped out of college]. I think that that praise just adds too much erroneous information to the sentence and makes it hard to read. Unless you can make the meaning more clear, and find a way to put it in another sentence, I would like it to go back to the way it was. If you have a source for the 1955 graduation date, however, I would keep that in.--DorothyBrousseau 05:30, 5 January 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dorothybrousseau (talkcontribs)

Your edits to 1974[edit]

Dear Pizzamaniac09,
Some of your edits on the page 1974 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The page you linked to is a Disambiguation page.

Please choose the individual that you mean from that page, and link to their Wikipedia page. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 15:34, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday details[edit]

Please stop adding the names of television shows to actor entries. Not only are they excessive detail and against general practice, they're occasionally absurd--I rather doubt that Michael Douglas, famous film actor and winner of the Academy Award for Best Actor for Wall Street is best identified as appearing in The Streets of San Francisco. --CalendarWatcher (talk) 12:57, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have reverted the extensive changes to made to this article, as I do not think they are beneficial to the article overall. The new synopsis you provided was poorly written, and the long list of guest stars was unnecessary (every TV show that last for a number of seasons will have a similar list). If you would like to make changes to the article, please use the article's talk page to discuss them in advance, to be certain that you have consensus to do so. Thanks. Hi Pizzamaniac09, can you please add in text references when adding information, rather than citing vague sources in the edit summaries? If you don't know how to do this, please check out WP:CITE. Thanks, Somno (talk) 03:09, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing again[edit]

Hello Pizzamaniac09. Do you have a reliable source that says that Chris Daughtry is a born-again Christian? That sort of information needs a source if it is to be included. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 21:26, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Same goes for Justin Guarini. Please be sure to supply sources for any information that is not commonly known, especially if controversial. Thanks. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 06:27, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Julie Harris[edit]

I've reverted the last four edits you made to Julie Harris as nothing you added was attributed to a reliable source. You must also be mindful of Wikipedia's policies for the biographies of living people. It boils down to this: if you do not provide a reliable source, do not add it. It's that simple. If you follow that, you can't go wrong. I see that this has been brought to your attention before, so please take this seriously. Rossrs (talk) 07:39, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

last warning[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your addition to the list, i.e. Robert Cummings. However, although you are correct about his real first name, he was already removed from the list as he does not qualify. The list clearly states that "People whose main forename happens not to be the first one (such as Paul McCartney and Marie Osmond) are not listed here—these are their real names, not stage names." I left an explanation as well on the list's talk page. Please feel free to continue adding names which qualify under the list rules. Adding names to year articles[edit]

Any names added to such articles should have international notability. Please don't add names of people who are just minor American actors. Calendar articles[edit]

Please stop adding pointless, badly formatted and occasionally ludicrous detail into the biographical entries on the date pages.--CalendarWatcher (talk) 08:22, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't mean any harm, though I added some big stars, esp. Laura Innes, I had no rights using meaningless description on each of the calendar articles, about the years they were born.--Pizzamaniac09 talk 01:48, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm not at all certain what exactly it is that you're trying to say. If you're attempting to say that the descriptions you keeping adding are not meaningless, you are incorrect: they appear to be almost randomly chosen examples of each person's work, invariably formatted in italics, which offer no important information or detail. If you're attempting to say that you understand that you were wrong to add this pointless detail, then perhaps you would care to explain this edit? --CalendarWatcher (talk) 09:08, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what to tell you, I thought I was adding some things that were important to the star such as a TV series in italics, when I was wrong. I guess I didn't make myself quite clear when I wasn't supposed to add a TV show or a description relating to him/her in the first place. Pizzamaniac09 talk 09:20, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Mantooth and Tighe articles[edit]

Hello and happy Fourth of July! Just letting you know that I reverted your changes to both the Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe articles. Because both articles are biographies of living persons, it's important that references be given for claims such as those you included in both articles. If you have references that back up those claims, feel free to readd the info in the articles. Without references, however, the statements really can't stand. If you have any questions about adding references and what references are considered acceptable and verifiable in Wikipedia, please see the article on citing sources found here: WP:CITE. Thanks! Lhb1239 (talk) 23:12, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was talking to an Emergency! fan on Facebook, and told me these facts about Randy & Kevin, yesterday. They were both being injured off-camera, while performing the stunts. Pizzamaniac09 talk 24:38, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Unsourced trivia and ludicrous credits[edit]

Please stop adding trivia that you just 'know' to be true, as you did to Loretta Swit. An actual reliable source that a reader can use to confirm the veracity of a claim is the minimal that is required: 'I saw it on Youtube' is nowhere near enough of a reference

Also, and you've been told this before, STOP ADDING RANDOM--OFTEN RIDICULOUS--CREDITS TO ACTOR LISTINGS IN THE CALENDAR PAGES. Not only are such credits in general not used, you picked the most trivial and ridiculous ones at that. So, once again, STOP DOING THAT. --CalendarWatcher (talk) 14:17, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I apologized for adding trivia that are on YouTube also for adding trivia on the calendar that's not right. I thought each actor was well-known for their roles, but it just wasn't right. --- Pizzamaniac09 talk 14:43, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will remind you that you have been indefinitely blocked before for your actions, and continuing to do the same things even after having been warned numerous times before and after will see you blocked permanently again, no matter what apologies you profess. Your border-line incoherent response does not fill me with any confidence that you understand what you're doing wrong, and suggests that you will continue to make the same mistakes. To simplify:

  • Do NOT add credits to actor/performer entries on the calendar pages. I see that you persisted in this practice even after your block was lifted. Do not do this. Not at all. Not one. They do not belong. Full stop.
  • Do NOT add trivia to biographical articles for its own sake. Especially, do NOT add unsourced trivia to biographical articles. And absolutely, positively do NOT add unsourced trivia with 'Citation Needed' tags already included to biographical articles, as that says that you're repeating something that you KNOW has no source. So do not do this. --CalendarWatcher (talk) 08:20, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is too complicated. I was trying to find some articles, when you wouldn't accept them. I just don't know why I've been blocked because of this. If I want to find some true statements, then, each of them are to be sourced. --- Pizzamaniac09 talk 21:26, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Pizzamaniac. I wanted to come by and touch base to say Hello and also to say how very much appreciated you are. I wanted to discuss your recent edit to the Randolph Mantooth article. You and I want the same thing - an accurate well-written article for this actor. So let's go over a few things and we can work together.

  • (of London's potty-mouth) this phrase is not used in the interview cited and for that reason must be removed unless of course another references is cited that uses this phrase exactly.
  • of his TV nurse, - just fluff and unnecessary.
  • As a five-year-old boy, he was also a fan of her music, as well<:ref name>http://us.imdb.com</ref>, - Okay, you only state “imdb.com” in the ref and this only links to their main page. It is not mentioned in Randy's imdb bio – so if perhaps you saw it in the “trivia” section on imdb – then it is unreliable because any user can add trivia to imdb which may or may not be true. Sorry, this statement must be removed if it cannot be verified.
  • years before he went on auditions with the lead actress (London) on Emergency!, with the insistence of her ex-husband and creator Jack Webb, which paid off, despite the bitter feud, between Mantooth and Webb, with a lack of eye contact<:ref name="JGP">"Q&A with Randy Mantooth". Retrieved 11 January 2014.</ref> I'm sorry – but none of this statement is quoted on this Q&A at johnnysgreenpen.com and again must be removed if it cannot be verified.
  • but he got along real well with London, as she became Mantooth's soul, surrogate mother, mentor and friend, throughout the show's 8 seasons<:ref>http://crntalk.com/larrymanetti</ref>, I do not see any of this on the link provided. Now, I'm thinking you might have an old link for this that may not work anymore from crntalk.com. If so, you might try https://archive.org/web/ which is a web archive and may provide an archived link for this source – or you can provide that old link here and I can help get it. But if you provide a reference – it must be a working link that any one can go to and verify.
  • along with Tighe, as well, where the chemistry of London, Mantooth and Tighe were all a success story of 1970s television, and she also invited both Mantooth and Tighe to her's & Troup's own house. When the series ended, Mantooth stayed close to London until her death on October 18, 2000, nearly 2 years, after Troup had died. - no reference was provided for any of this amd unless provided, must be removed as well.

I have your talk page on my watchlist so if you reply you can just do so here on your page and we can keep the conversation in one place. You obviously have much more information than I, and with two jobs my time for research is limited. So you are very valuable. Again I say, you and I just want this actor's article to be accurate and respectable, and I can help with verifiability and format. I didn't want to offend you and revert, so maybe with these explanations you can remove what cannot be verified, for now anyway. Any questions, I am always here to help. Friendship with....[edit]

I've removed all the "friendship with" sections you recently created. They were ridiculously large and detailed, heavy on quotes and light on encyclopedic information. Thanks for your contribution to List of Falcon Crest episodes, but it looks like the plot summaries are lifted word-for-word from another website, which is a copyright violation. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk

TAnthony|Talk, I removed all the episodes ... as soon as I try to get my new computer, I'll pick numerous scrap sheets of paper and rewrite the Falcon Crest synopsis in my own words, from various sources, and will have enough time to upload them. I'll do my best. Thanks. User Talk:Pizzamaniac09.

Biographic information about related individuals[edit]

Over the past two days I've had to pare-back three additions you've made to musician articles. The problem wasn't sourcing, although it's not terrific, the problem is that the information is not about the subjects in the articles, it's about their parents. WP:BLP deals with the subjects themselves. There are sections that discuss those related to them and the practice is to be brief, factual and not reveal unnecessary detail. If you feel that I've done harm to the subjects, feel free to revert, or preferably, discuss it on the BLP talk pages. Link to your version and then to mine and ask if my changes are appropriate. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
