Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity (AKRHO) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity (AKRHO) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://alpha-kappa-rho-1973.blogspot.com.au/p/history-of-alpha-kappa-rho.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:59, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity Logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:30, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tomlara219. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 06:31, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I made a mistake in the coding of my message to report vandalism by a user--PritongKandule. I had a line that reads as a threat but I assure you that in no way did I intend to threaten or take any legal action. My original intention was to report the vandalism by user PritongKandule of the article I wrote in 2013. But I made a mistake in the code I used to report the vandalism and hence it appeared as a threat to PritongKandule. I was made aware that just recently 2 users have changed the whole article to focus on Controversies and deleted most of what it contained originally. My article was about the Alpha Kappa Rho International Humanitarian Service Corporation that was registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission in 1998. But 2 users namely PritongKandule and JasMN had change the whole article to include actions of those that are not recognized or sanctioned by the duly registered International Humanitarian Service Corporation. The article is suppose to focus on the Humanitarian work of this Organization but the focus changed to Controversies. I therefore would like to appeal my blocking so I can rewrite the article so it would be clearer that it refers to the International Humanitarian Service Corporation. I am hoping for your consideration on this matter. Tomlara219 (talk) 02:41, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your appeal boils down to WP:NOTTHEM and a desire to WP: OWN the article, and really to make a puff piece. And blaming this edit summary on a coding error? No, you, and only you, wrote “ your continuous action can result in legal action by the said organisation”. Appeal declined. Courcelles (talk) 02:16, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Well, it appeared to be a threat because it is a threat- you used the possibility of legal action by the organization to get your way in an editing dispute, as a chilling effect. Do you represent or have an association with the organization? Do you understand that articles summarize what independent reliable sources state about a topic, be it good or bad? You can't limit this article to just the "good" things that this fraternity does. The content does need to have due weight and comply with the biographies of living persons policy, but you can't keep it out just because. 331dot (talk) 08:41, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And how will you handle the editing dispute going forward? 331dot (talk) 08:42, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have no association with organization. My frustration was more because the 2 users had changed almost everything in the article to focus on Controversies. As I mentioned previously I am now aware that the language I used was threatening and if I am unblocked I will rewrite the article to include both the good things that this fraternity has done and the controversies that others have written. I will also need advise on what to do with the news reports that are unresolved. Tomlara219 (talk) 02:16, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
