Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Monetary policy of the United States you included material copied from United States Treasury security. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying within Wikipedia in the future. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:39, 26 December 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Wind-powered vehicle into Perpetual motion. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. No original research

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Democratic Party (United States), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:17, 11 December 2021 (UTC)

No original research, Part Two

I have removed the updated chart on life expectancy that you recently added to the WP article United States. The original source, whose name has to be located within the illustration, is actually a 2019 chart from the website FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), but the added version was edited for 2019-2020 by a group called LIBERATION. As this chart is effectively a self-edit from a third party, it does not meet the requirements of Wikipedia and must be deleted. Mason.Jones (talk) 16:46, 23 December 2021 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Altra Federal Credit Union requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thanks for the graph at Home-ownership in the United States!

Thanks for generating/building and adding the graph at the Home-ownership in the United States article, it is definitely a valuable addition to that article!!

One small suggestion for next time, or for a revision of this one: generally home prices are noted as the median home price, rather than the average home price, with the reason being that a few exorbitantly expensive homes sold can significantly skew the average, but they won't skew the median, so the median is usually published as a more representative dollar amount for the prices in that housing market.

Otherwise the graph looks fantastic, and is well done, Thanks!!! ---Avatar317(talk) 23:17, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

Abolition of the income tax moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Abolition of the income tax, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Please don't add blurry, low-quality images like this one you added to Grain elevator. Please take a moment to read MOS:IMAGEQUALITY. You might want to save your photos in a different format. Thanks for your understanding. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:50, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Reliable sources

Howdy. I reverted your change to supply-side economics because the source you provided looked like a self-published blog site, not a research paper. Andre🚐 06:28, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

  • Hi. Investopedia is not good either. You also added what looks like a keynote address from the chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank. That's getting closer. Maybe you'd like to discuss on the talk page instead of continually adding this content. Andre🚐 07:39, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

Solar aircraft moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Solar aircraft. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and it seems to commercial listing of solar aircraft linking to a list of private. Effectively an advert. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. scope_creepTalk 16:18, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

Notice

The article Rubber shingle roof has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is an advertisement. References are commercial companies that roofing shingles. Fails WP:PROMO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. scope_creepTalk 16:20, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

Promotional editing

Hi @Wikideas1: I had to send one of your articles on draft plus one to prod due the heavy promotion of particular products, particularly using commercial organisations as references, which make the article advertsing. Why is that? Are you being paid to promote these products? scope_creepTalk 16:25, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

No, I didnt know you couldn't use a direct source. Wikideas1 (talk) 16:36, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi, your edits have definitely improved the article seems it draftified. You can use a primary source for basic details like dates, but claim that a company made a solar aircraft is a big one and companies often like to exaggerate their innovations. Ca talk to me! 13:36, 16 January 2024 (UTC)

Hello, Wikideas1. Your recent edit to Google Earth does not appear consistent with the Wikipedia guidelines on hatnotes. {{See also}} is used when a relationship between articles exists.

Solar-powered aircraft

Hi,

I reversed your edit on Weather radar‎ as solar-powered aircraft are not radar. They can be used as radar platform but are not solutions for technical problems in the section you had put the link.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adobe Substance 3D, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. charts

hi,

I'm a chart person. Hardcore. Love charts, can't get enough charts. I see you have contributed many charts.

But I need to be honest with you. Your charts display too many variables, over too long a time period, and so create unreadable noise that renders them useless, and consequently I doubt anyone finds them useful. I made the same mistakes in my early days of charting, decades ago. The objective is not to cram as much information as possible into one chart. You also appear to use a primitive charting tool that creates eyesore charts.

Frankly, they're awful. I encourage you to contribute charts with fewer variables, spanning a shorter and relevant timeframe, and use a pro tool to create them. Less is more. Here is a beautiful chart.

Cheers. soibangla (talk) 08:42, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

please, once again, I implore you, please reconsider how you do charts. they are not useful, they really just are not. a response would be appreciated soibangla (talk) 05:41, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
I just removed another of your charts because the base index values did not converge at 100, which is vital in a chart of that nature.
I'll give it to you straight up: at this point I question your competence in creating and presenting data in a correct and meaningful way. I know you're trying to be helpful, and I'm willing to coach you toward improvement, but if you persist in contributing in this manner I may seek to have you prohibited from doing so, as you have done this across many articles over years. very sincerely, your charts are really that bad. please respond. soibangla (talk) 06:24, 23 May 2024 (UTC)

Help with CAD page (Shapr3D)

Hi, I came across your profile from the edit history of the CAD page. I would like to create a page for Shapr3D, an increasingly popular Parasolid based CAD software. I have ties to the company, so I would love an objective outsider to help review the effort. I put together a draft which I feel retains a neutral tone, and references multiple industry sources on notability. Would you be open to taking a look and giving feedback? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Shapr3D Thanks. Sebcachia (talk) 08:03, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Looks pretty good, maybe change the ==Company== section to ==History== Wikideas1 (talk) 14:11, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
