The Crossroads of the West Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America that serves the Scouts in nearly all of Utah, southeastern Idaho, and southwestern Wyoming, as well as isolated parts of northwestern Arizona, and western Nevada.
Description
The council was created in April 2020 by consolidating the former Great Salt Lake, Trapper Trails, and Utah National Parks councils.[3][2] Its initial headquarters are in the same building in Ogden as the former Trapper Trails Council,[1] but the new council retained the website address of the former Utah National Parks Council (utahscouts.org).
Organization
The Crossroads of the West Council serves 9 districts throughout Utah, southeastern Idaho, and southwestern Wyoming.[4]
A Scouting district is a geographical area of the local BSA council, determined by the council executive board. District leaders mobilize resources to ensure the growth and success of units within the district's territory. All districts are responsible for carrying out four standard functions: membership, finance, program, and unit service.[5]

- Wasatch Peaks District (6) – East Salt Lake County (east of I-15 including Draper and Sandy) and Summit County
- Timpanogos District (7) – North Utah County (Orem and all cities north); Duchesne, Uintah, and Wasatch counties
- Silver Sage District (8) – South Utah (Provo and all cities south); Carbon, Emery, Grand, Juab, and San Juan (except south of the San Juan River)[6] counties
- Spanish Trails District (9) – Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Washington, and Wayne counties in Utah, the Arizona Strip, Lincoln County in Nevada

The Crossroads of the West Council is serviced by the Order of the Arrow Ammatdiio Lodge #590, which was formed in 2020 by the merging of the Lodges that served the original three councils,[29] which were Awaxaawe Awachia Lodge #535 of the former Trapper Trails Council, El-Ku-Ta Lodge #520 of the former Great Salt Lake Council, and Tu Cubin Noonie Lodge #508 of the former Utah National Parks Council.
