Monchel-sur-Canche is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France.

Geography

Monchel-sur-Canche is situated on the banks and in the vally of the river Canche, which feeds the local fish/trout farm, it is 25 miles (40 km) west of Arras, on the D102 road.

  • The fifteenth century church of "St Juste", who is the patron saint of farmers.

Monchel sur Canche is known for being so friendly, in fact, the Village is known as "the little Village with a big heart" (Le petit village avec un grand coeur).
