September 2011[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Nanny, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.

Question[edit]

When on my contributions page I see my contributions in grey, red or green. What does this mean and what is this (+ a number) and or (- a number) mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aeroplanepics0112 (talkcontribs)

That number in parenthesises is basically the number of "bytes" added or removed by the edit. You could say it is a numerical representation of the size of the edit. It's the "net change" in the size of the article. :) Salvidrim! 02:48, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted at Cochlea[edit]

Your edit at Cochlea followed a vandalism edit to the lead. I reverted both. You should look again and see if some part of your edit is still warranted, and try again. Dicklyon (talk) 02:21, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dicklyon,
Sorry about this. I was unaware of the edit before me, I only made my edit to make the page look better. Thanks for notifying me and reverting the previous vandalism! Aeroplanepics0112 (talk) 02:27, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Swagelok Company Logo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Swagelok Company Logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Speedy deletion nomination of CleanLife Energy[edit]

Hello Aeroplanepics0112,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged CleanLife Energy for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 16:57, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article deletions[edit]

Hi. It's usually possible to recreate a deleted article. However, if the new version is identical to the old, it will get deleted again. If it does not meet the guidelines for inclusion, it will still get deleted. So be sure to read the guidelines and comply with thim. Otherwise, you can use Wikipedia:Articles for creation to get a second opinion before you try to create the article. Deb (talk) 07:19, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to hear about your article[edit]

@Aeroplanepics0112 sorry to see that your CleanLife Energy article was speedied, my article ContentBridge was also nominated, but I was able to save it with a "claim of significance" which is a lower threshold than notability.WP:SIGNIFICANCE The same person who nominated your article also nominated mine for using the same tags.

Currently, ContentBridge is in for an Articles for Deletion discussion Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/ContentBridge, you may find some useful information for defending your article once restored. I would appreciate your opinion on AfD if you care to give it.

The beer descriptions that were part of the material you added a while back to Bear Republic Brewing Company were taken from the company. This is a problem both because of copyright (see Wikipedia:Text Copyright Violations 101) and because the descriptions were not neutral. Southwest Airlines[edit]

Please take a closer look at the differences. The version of the file that you're restoring lists the company slogan as "Snacks? Check. Engines? Not so much.", among other things. Thanks. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 03:16, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

July 2018[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on University School. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. John from Idegon (talk) 21:29, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
