Hi John, hope all is well. I'm working on a list of articles to rerun at TFA. Is DNA nanotechnology in good shape? I'm looking for something sciencey for early November. - Dank (push to talk) 13:21, 11 August 2017 (UTC)

@Dank: You actually read my mind—National Nanotechnology Day is October 9, and I was thinking that would be a good day to re-run this article. It could use some light updates but other than that it would be good to go. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 15:05, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
Great, I'll add it to WP:TFAP. - Dank (push to talk) 15:13, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
Mike has just shown me a spreadsheet with his October picks. Turns out the 9th is the birthday of Camille Saint-Saëns. I'll throw this article into my pile of articles to rerun sometime this year or next. - Dank (push to talk) 02:16, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
@Dank: Can we get him to reconsider?? I've been using the TFA to encourage people to write nanotechnology-related DYKs (I'll have at least three myself) and the effect is much greater if we have a nano TFA as well. No disrespect to Mr. Saint-Saëns. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 04:50, 14 September 2017 (UTC)

Antony-22, I was wondering whether you were planning to return to your review of this DYK nomination. If not, please let me know, and I'll put out the call for a new reviewer.

Incidentally, when a nomination on the Approved page needs more work, you don't need to move it back to the nominations page; it can stay on the Approved page while the new round of review-and-fix is under way. When the bot that does the moving from nominations to approved was under development, the general consensus was that the move would only be one way. (It is less clear as to whether a nomination pulled from prep goes back to the nominations or the approved page; I've seen both happen, though I personally add it back on the nominations page.) BlueMoonset (talk) 19:56, 10 October 2017 (UTC)

@BlueMoonset: I've been traveling or swamped these past few weeks. I think I can get to it this weekend, but if someone else want to pick it up before then, it's fine.
