Hi. To tell the truth, I don’t understand the reason for your tagging the article. I’ve already furnished the article with several WP:reliable sources including DigiGuide and Michelle Yeoh Web Theatre. The references added by me provide evidence for the fact that Prapimporn Karnchanda has had significant roles in a number of films (WP:ENT #1). Is this new revision good enough? --Janggun Dungan (talk) 19:07, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
List of martial arts
Hi, i am trying to add content to the list of martial arts article, some of the martial arts do not have articles written about them i.e. Puños Continuos which is a military combat system developed for the Cuban military forces. Is this an issue when adding content? Let me know Sincerely AC — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.217.32 (talk) 21:29, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- It is a problem - by long standing consensus and general policy in Lists you need to have an article created.PRehse (talk) 21:33, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
"Puños Continous" has an article written in spanish within wikipedia, for some reason I can't figure out how to link it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.221.92 (talk) 20:13, 8 January 2018 (UTC)

Brazil has a combat system developed for the military called "Uru-Can"
Catch as Catch Wrestling should be added to United States section, it is under "catch wrestling".
Peru has a martial art developed for the streets called Bakom, sometimes called Vacon.
Recently in the United States Judokickbox was founded by cuban-americans living in Miami.
Poland section should be added and have Polish school of sabre. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.221.92 (talk) 21:04, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
You recently deleted Dog Brothers Martial Arts and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu from "list of martial arts" article after claiming incorrectly that they do not have an article created and that they are not martial arts, please be more careful next time you delete an entry in an article or you will be reported for vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.216.165 (talk) 19:38, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

"...you will be reported."
To whom? I can tell you right now that your IP can be blocked and you will be powerless to stop it. PRehse hasn't deleted anything, but go ahead and issue meaningless threats. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:41, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi Chris troutman, my message was not a threat it was a statement, PRehse incorrectly deleted 2 entries in the "list of martial arts" article which were Dog Brothers Martial Arts and 10th planet Jiu-Jitsu by erroneously claiming that the 2 entries were neither martial arts or had articles written about them, if you do some searching you will find that both entries qualify. "Martial Arts" such as DBMA and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu were created by people, and are managed by "people" that formed "organizations" in order to "organize" instruction, competition, requirements, testing, certification, ranking, etc.
I.E. Kajukembo was created by people and is managed by an "organization"...
As for reporting "to whom?" If you or PRehse continue to erroneously erase entries after being politely proven wrong and asked not to delete such entries, then a "report of vandalism" shall be filed with a wikipedia administrator and then that administrator shall decide what to do next. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.216.165 (talk) 20:31, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Not sure why you have added the notability tag twice now. If you feel it's not notable, take it to AfD, instead of repeatedly inserting the tag. That is the procedure when notability tags are challenged. HampsteadLord (talk) 21:37, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- HampsteadLord Well the idea is you should not remove maintenance tags without addressing the issue. As it stands it's a prime candidate for deletion but I don't believe new articles should be rushed to AfD.PRehse (talk) 21:52, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- Notability has already been established by the presence of multiple sources providing significant coverage, and going back years. I believe it is better to nominate for deletion rather than repeatedly tagging. Since you believe in waiting, I take it you will nominate in a few days or so. HampsteadLord (talk) 22:07, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- HampsteadLord Eventually I might. I usually like to give articles a couple of weeks before AfD.PRehse (talk) 22:14, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- I eagerly look forward to that course of action. HampsteadLord (talk) 03:07, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
About Fix-It Felix Jr.
Fix-It Felix Jr., was originally intended to be only from the movie, but in reality, that is left behind, it actually exists, but it started as the Wreck-It Ralph promotion. Just people like you, deny the presence of the game in real life and not admit a related article, because you haven't seen or played it, I have played. It deserves to be, like the other games from the other movies.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8sssti_mCY&t=75s — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ofihombre (talk • contribs) 12:54, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
I defend this article, because I have proof of it, and in the words of Jules Verne: "Everything that man imagines becomes a reality" and video games aren't the exception. Fix-It Felix Jr. must be in the Post-fictional category, Because it has been seen hundreds of times by many people who hadn't imagined that this game really existed.
Belated best wishes for a happy 2018

I don't think I reviewed this. I definitely didn't intend to. The log suggests you reviewed it, perhaps unintentionally when tweaking the talk page? Anyway, not a big problem. The article was turned into a redirect to a cut'n'pasted copy, reverted, done again, and now I'm trying to start discussion. Don't know how well it will all go down, but fingers crossed. Hello! Just a reminder that {{WikiProject Film}} does not cover biography articles, such as actors, directors and filmmakers. Disambiguation link notification for January 29
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited State ownership, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Enterprise (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

QAI revert
Hi - I didn't see a comment from you saying why you reverted my change on the QAI redirect. Could I get some idea of why the edit wasn't acceptable? Thanks. Faught (talk) 17:17, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher)Faught, you changed the redirect to a disambiguation page. You added two entries, one to where the redirect points to, the other with no links at all. A DAB page is just a navigation tool. If an entry does not link to an existing Wikipedia article that has something about the title in it, then it doesn't belong. So in this case the second entry should have been deleted, leaving one entry. Since there is only one entry the page should redirect to that article. ~ GB fan 17:30, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, exactly.PRehse (talk) 17:39, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying. I know I've seen entries on longer disambiguation pages that aren't linked anywhere. But perhaps in this case you'd be looking for at least two entries with links to justify having the disambiguation page? I had considered adding a page for the other QAI, but I didn't think I could demonstrate notability for it. Faught (talk) 19:03, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- If there are DAB pages that have entries that do not link to an article, those entries should be removed. Every entry on a DAB page must be linked to an article. ~ GB fan 19:04, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

New Page Reviewer Newsletter
Backlog update:
- The new page backlog is currently at 3819 unreviewed articles, with a further 6660 unreviewed redirects.
- We are very close to eliminating the backlog completely; please help by reviewing a few extra articles each day!
New Year Backlog Drive results:
- We made massive progress during the recent four weeks of the NPP Backlog Drive, during which the backlog reduced by nearly six thousand articles and the length of the backlog by almost 3 months!
General project update:
- ACTRIAL will end it's initial phase on the 14th of March. Our goal is to reduce the backlog significantly below the 90 day index point by the 14th of March. Please consider helping with this goal by reviewing a few additional pages a day.
- Reviewing redirects is an important and necessary part of New Page Patrol. Please read the guideline on appropriate redirects for advice on reviewing redirects. Inappropriate redirects can be re-targeted or nominated for deletion at RfD.

cheetah
Hi. I did indeed try to move Tanzanian cheetah, i.e. what you called the old page, to East African cheetah. But since there is a redirect in the latter, it was not possible to *move* content of this article. If you think it is not appropriate to cut and paste content from one to the other, then please tell me how to do this alternatively. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 11:50, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- BhagyaMani You need to first delete the target redirect and then use the Move tab at the top right of the page. I started the process. Please edit the article so that the naming is more consistent with the title.PRehse (talk) 12:09, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for speedy action!! Sure, will replace name asap. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 12:14, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
O please, can you perform a similar action on Sudan cheetah so that moving content to Northeast African cheetah will be possible ?? This because the name Northeast African cheetah is more appropriate as this spp. occurs not only in Sudan. But latter currently also shows a redirect. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 12:32, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- BhagyaMani Done but I remember some pretty contentious argument about Lion sub species and hope this is less controversial.PRehse (talk) 12:53, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- So you followed the discussions there. Hope you enjoyed! Well, in the case of cheetah, the no. of accepted subspecies has been reduced to a far lesser extent than the lion ones, viz from 5 to 4. So I do not expect any controversy. Cheerio, -- BhagyaMani (talk) 13:27, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- I cant really see the difference in that sense with Tanzanian cheetah, since that species occurs in other countries than Tanzania. I guess those two ases are very comparable. Dan Koehl (talk) 16:21, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

Copy/paste moves
Howdy! I don't want to add to your already prodigious workload, but I wonder if, when reverting a copy/paste move over a redirect (as at Kailash Chandra Meghwal), it would be a good idea to drop a link to WP:RFPM into the edit summary. If I was sufficiently non-technical to try a copy/paste move (let alone repeatedly), I don't think I would have a clue where to turn when merely told "do a proper move instead" :). Please check your automated and/or script-assisted edits
With this edit you introduced errors into the page - specifically the automated/script-assisted edit used the page titles of domain reselling pages rather than the titles of the actual sources. In this case I fixed them by finding archived copies of the sources at the Internet Archive, but you should have done this (if archived copies are not available, remove the incorrect title and mark them as a permanent dead link). Remember that you are responsible for automated and script-assisted edits you make and other editors should not have to clean up after you. I have not looked at any other edits you've made to see if they need cleaning up as well. Thryduulf (talk) 22:09, 17 February 2018 (UTC)

Olimpia Râmnicu Sărat -> CSM Râmnicu Sărat
Can you help me to move page Olimpia Râmnicu Sărat to CSM Râmnicu Sărat? CSM Râmnicu Sărat is an old name of the club, but in the summer of 2017 the club returned to the old name and logo.

CSM Râmnicu Sărat profile. frfotbal.ro - another confirmation of the change on Romanian Football Federation competitions and schedule site.
Facebook of the team - changed from Olimpia to CSM, also the logo is again the old one, white-blue with the CSM trademark
Twitter - same changes confirmed.
I proposed this change some time ago on the talk page and someone opposed, without any real reason and the move was canceled.
I would be grateful if you could help me. :) Rhinen

- With a medal I'd say there should be no doubt, but if kickboxers need only be ranked in the top 10 why not judoka? There's lots of "world" titles out there, but I give some credence to the IJF and WTF titles and rankings. When I look at WP:NSPORT it appears that most, if not all, sports would say a top 8 finish in the world championships would be enough to show notability. That's a more lenient standard than WP:MANOTE, but for the IJF and WTF I'm inclined to bend some. It's still better than appearing in one top level game like a number of the sports (or simply appearing at the Olympics). Papaursa (talk) 19:17, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

MMA Notability tag removal
@PRehse: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Jackson_(fighter) Notability tagged a MMA Fighters page for notability issues. I believe this is incorrect should be removed asap. As we editors are collecting small paces of infomation into the page piece by piece slowly. The main reason why this was created (must create asap) to avoid confusion due to recent media coverage. (directing users to edit in Michael Jackson). The tag should be waived, because "it seem to be worthily" on the page even if he got top tier 1 fight + there more improvement coming in slowly. 🥇BUSriderSFUser (talk • contribs) 19:09, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

About the Kim Last article
Hi PRehse,
I've looked at the text of the the article deleted as a result of the 2016 Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kim Last and this current version has addressed enough issues raised in that discussion to avoid the WP:G4 speedy deletion criteria. No prejudice for nomination under other deletion reasons.
I have no idea why "(Speedy deletion declined. Criterion G4 does not apply: Not previously been deleted via a deletion discussion (CSDH)}" appears in the edit summary - I was sure I added non-templated text in the speedy decline. Smarterer heads than mine might be able to explain that, but I can't.
That said, I still think this article may not pass any number of tests for inclusion as stand-alone article.

Is too a disambiguation page
Regarding your revert: when I changed it from a redirect into its current form, I intended it as a disambiguation page. Your comment does not address that argument, it just negates it. Please explain why you think it is "clearly" not a disambiguation page. As far as I can see, the earlier edits by User:Slashme inadvertently fixed some inconsistencies and marked it as a stub because I happened to neglect to add a {{disambiguation}} template. I don't think a new article about clearing banks is needed, as there is already Clearing (finance), Clearing house and similar articles. Just a disambiguation is needed here. – gpvos (talk) 17:03, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

Wikiproject quality/importance assessment
Hi Peter. From time to time you've assessed a few articles I've added in the WP templates for. Not sure if you're handling these as part of a wikiproject queue or as part of the NPP queue. If the latter, my rationale for leaving them blank is so to (hopefully) get an extra editor who is interested in the topic area to review and (possibly) improve things. Something to consider, but no problem if you continue. Cheers, ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 09:40, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Personally, I don't mind you assessing them, I do so myself. The idea is that the maintenance queues will draw members from those WikiProjects to improve the article. I would ask, however, that you check what parameters a banner uses before adding that banner; you tend to add things like
{{WikiProject United States|s&a=yes}}
, when s&a is not a workgroup for WikiProject United States (indeed, it isn't for any project except Biography). You can find out which parameters are available by checking the documentation, which will be transcluded onto the template page. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 12:44, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
On the warning yesterday
Greetings! I saw that Wikimandia (who I have not pinged to avoid restarting a flame war) left a rather hostile message on your talk page yesterday about a speedy deletion tag you applied. I was going to comment, but you removed the message before I had the opportunity (which you have every right to do). I just wanted to let you know that Wikimandia's tone was inappropriate and that he was entirely out of line to threaten you. While a little more care may be advised in the future, it would also be inappropriate to argue that what happened was incompetence rather than an honest mistake. Hopefully you weren't bothered too much by it, although it would certainly be appropriate if you were. Anyway, best wishes! —Compassionate727 (T·C) 13:01, 9 May 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.11 25 May 2018
ACTRIAL:
- WP:ACREQ has been implemented. The flow at the feed has dropped back to the levels during the trial. However, the backlog is on the rise again so please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day; a backlog approaching 5,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
Deletion tags
- Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders. They require your further verification.
Backlog drive:
- A backlog drive will take place from 10 through 20 June. Check out our talk page at WT:NPR for more details. NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.
Editathons
- There will be a large increase in the number of editathons in June. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
Paid editing - new policy
- Now that ACTRIAL is ACREQ, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. There is a new global WMF policy that requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies.
Not English
- A common issue: Pages not in English or poor, unattributed machine translations should not reside in main space even if they are stubs. Please ensure you are familiar with WP:NPPNE. Check in Google for the language and content, tag as required, then move to draft if they do have potential.
News
- Development is underway by the WMF on upgrades to the New Pages Feed, in particular ORES features that will help to identify COPYVIOs, and more granular options for selecting articles to review.
- The next issue of The Signpost has been published. The newspaper is one of the best ways to stay up to date with news and new developments. between our newsletters.

Tsu Zu You Think You Are?
Trying to Avoid t3h d34dly Triple Edit
This article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uechi-ryū Uechi-ryū
Da Problem:
if you look at the Talk you will see where I explained how the pronunciation of the つ of 空き (つき・tsuki) shifts to zu when in a combination much like keri becomes geri I posted an Okinawan list that has the furigana that demonstrates it becomes づ. I can, also, post pages from Japanese textbooks that include the furigana.
So "dis guy" who is anonymous: 2600:1700:fee0:f00:fa1e:dfff:fee1:5c9d
keeps changing it to the wrong pronunciation. I suppose I could leave a direct "See Talk on his page but it is anyone's page. After writing this, I did put an explanation, and I hope he/she/it/not-sure-but-don't-confine-me-to-your-hegemony reads it. I did mention the Talk discussion in both my edits.
Anyways, to avoid further edit-undo-edit-undo, would appreciate your input. TheDoctorX (talk) 04:49, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
Of course, after posting this, the other anonymous poster stopped editing. Today, I added a picture from a textbook to the article's Talk page on the subject which should do it.

Notification that Johnny Taylor page is scheduled for deletion
Hi there,
I know this is weird but I’m a new editor and don’t know how things work and you seem like you are pretty experienced .
I’m a fan of Johnny Taylor, Jr. and was thrilled when he posted a link to his Wikipedia page on Facebook. I noticed it was very sparse. I had never edited Wikipedia before but wanted to add to it and thought it a great opportunity to create pages for other comics I loved that didn’t have pages themselves in the future. I’m a nerd, I like that kinda stuff. I’m sad to see it nominated for deleted especially after I put so much time into learning Wikipedia working so much on this page (and others also). Also Johnny is a great comic and deserves one.
Is there a process of appeal?
Best,

Redirects are automatically assessed
Hiya, a heads up re: [2]: the WikiProject banner automatically checks whether the article is a redirect and dynamically assesses its parameters as redirects when left blank. Hardcoding the parameter "Redirect" only makes it harder to maintain proper classification when the redirect becomes a prose article as no one would be automatically prompted to update the params. Commemorative Canadian coins page
@Username: Hi PRehse. I'm working on this page - when I started it a few days ago, I thought I would be including the info on commemorative coins on the page. However, I've since found out that other editors have already done the work, on the pages for each of the individual coin denominations. So, I think this page is best suited as an "overview" page, with links to each of the denomination articles. I think it would be best to just entirely take out the tables I had started. Given that the work has been done already, there's no need to duplicate it on this page, and if we did for all the denominations, this page would just be unwieldy - way too long. Hello PRehse, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
- June backlog drive
Overall the June backlog drive was a success, reducing the last 3,000 or so to below 500. However, as expected, 90% of the patrolling was done by less than 10% of reviewers.
Since the drive closed, the backlog has begun to rise sharply again and is back up to nearly 1,400 already. Please help reduce this total and keep it from raising further by reviewing some articles each day.
- New technology, new rules
- New features are shortly going to be added to the Special:NewPagesFeed which include a list of drafts for review, OTRS flags for COPYVIO, and more granular filter preferences. More details can be found at this page.
- Probationary permissions: Now that PERM has been configured to allow expiry dates to all minor user rights, new NPR flag holders may sometimes be limited in the first instance to 6 months during which their work will be assessed for both quality and quantity of their reviews. This will allow admins to accord the right in borderline cases rather than make a flat out rejection.
- Current reviewers who have had the flag for longer than 6 months but have not used the permissions since they were granted will have the flag removed, but may still request to have it granted again in the future, subject to the same probationary period, if they wish to become an active reviewer.
- Editathons
- Editathons will continue through August. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
- The Signpost
- The next issue of the monthly magazine will be out soon. The newspaper is an excellent way to stay up to date with news and new developments between our newsletters. If you have special messages to be published, or if you would like to submit an article (one about NPR perhaps?), don't hesitate to contact the editorial team here.

Far Eastern leopard
When I noticed that I redirected to Far Eastern Leopard, i.e. with a capital L, I moved contents to Far Eastern leopard, i.e. with a small l, assuming that wikipedia's policy is to use subspecies's names not capitalized. Please help : which of the two is the correct one? -- BhagyaMani (talk) 09:42, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- BhagyaMani The problem isn't the name but the copy paste which looses attribution. You need to make a proper move instead. In this case I think by request since the current name was long established.PRehse (talk) 09:51, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yes indeed: the name Far Eastern leopard is long established for this subspecies, whereas the name Northeast Asian leopard has to date NOT been used in any scientific source. I take it, you have far more experience in making such moves than I do, obviously. Would you move it then, properly? -- BhagyaMani (talk) 10:35, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

Aikido Journal
Do you consider the Aikido Journal to be a reliable source (as defined by WP)? I know I've used it as a reference, but I don't know if it's a RS. I usually give a pass to Black Belt magazine despite it's gross failure in topics like Frank Dux, but I look carefully to see that the content is not self-submitted/promotional. It's difficult to find good martial arts sources. Papaursa (talk) 18:56, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- Papaursa Very reliable it's origins are in AikiNews which in both Japanese and English versions was under good editorial control. The main driver, now deceased, was a trained historian with very respected integrity.PRehse (talk) 19:38, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- I thought you'd say that, but I wanted confirmation. Stanley Pranin was well-regarded. I'm wrestling with the Hakkō-ryū deletion discussion. The Aikido Journal article is an interview plus a brief synopsis of the art, so their support isn't as strong as I'd like. The Black Belt articles seem to support notability, but the final source mentioned is a little over a page in a book called "Taiho-Jutsu: The Art of Arrests". The interesting part is that the section says the art is "almost non-existent" "in terms of law enforcement", so why is it in the book and how much notability does it really show? This looks weak to me, but not as blatantly as some and I'm inclined to give it a pass. I think my reaction was as negative as it was because of the argument that it was such an obvious keep and that the nominator obviously didn't do his job. I don't see this as a slam-dunk. I know I shouldn't let personalities influence my editing, but I'm only human (depending on who you ask). Papaursa (talk) 21:46, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
NPR Newsletter No.13 18 September 2018
Hello PRehse, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
The New Page Feed currently has 2700 unreviewed articles, up from just 500 at the start of July. For a while we were falling behind by an average of about 40 articles per day, but we have stabilised more recently. Please review some articles from the back of the queue if you can (Sort by: 'Oldest' at Special:NewPagesFeed), as we are very close to having articles older than one month.
- Project news
- The New Page Feed now has a new "Articles for Creation" option which will show drafts instead of articles in the feed, this shouldn't impact NPP activities and is part of the WMF's AfC Improvement Project.
- As part of this project, the feed will have some larger updates to functionality next month. Specifically, ORES predictions will be built in, which will automatically flag articles for potential issues such as vandalism or spam. Copyright violation detection will also be added to the new page feed. See the projects's talk page for more info.
- There are a number of coordination tasks for New Page Patrol that could use some help from experienced reviewers. See Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Coordination#Coordinator tasks for more info to see if you can help out.
- Other
- A new summary page of reliable sources has been created; Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources/Perennial sources, which summarizes existing RfCs or RSN discussions about regularly used sources.
- Moving to Draft and Page Mover
- Some unsuitable new articles can be best reviewed by moving them to the draft space, but reviewers need to do this carefully and sparingly. It is most useful for topics that look like they might have promise, but where the article as written would be unlikely to survive AfD. If the article can be easily fixed, or if the only issue is a lack of sourcing that is easily accessible, tagging or adding sources yourself is preferable. If sources do not appear to be available and the topic does not appear to be notable, tagging for deletion is preferable (PROD/AfD/CSD as appropriate). See additional guidance at WP:DRAFTIFY.
- If the user moves the draft back to mainspace, or recreates it in mainspace, please do not re-draftify the article (although swapping it to maintain the page history may be advisable in the case of copy-paste moves). AfC is optional except for editors with a clear conflict of interest.
- Articles that have been created in contravention of our paid-editing-requirements or written from a blatant NPOV perspective, or by authors with a clear COI might also be draftified at discretion.
- The best tool for draftification is User:Evad37/MoveToDraft.js(info). Kindly adapt the text in the dialogue-pop-up as necessary (the default can also be changed like this). Note that if you do not have the Page Mover userright, the redirect from main will be automatically tagged as CSD R2, but in some cases it might be better to make this a redirect to a different page instead.
- The Page Mover userright can be useful for New Page Reviewers; occasionally page swapping is needed during NPR activities, and it helps avoid excessive R2 nominations which must be processed by admins. Note that the Page Mover userright has higher requirements than the NPR userright, and is generally given to users active at Requested Moves. Only reviewers who are very experienced and are also very active reviewers are likely to be granted it solely for NPP activities.

Hey there, it's been a while. Just popping by to let you know that I declined your G4 nomination of this page - while it's probably still deletable, both the content and sources are sufficiently different from the last-deleted version to require a new AFD (obviously you can't see the deleted version, so no harm no foul on your part!).

Joseph Kropschot
Hi, just thought I should let you know that, per Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2018 September 25#Joseph Kropschot, I undeleted an article you had tagged for speedy deletion as a re-creation of a previously deleted page (WP:CSD#G4). I will remove the speedy deletion tag, but I do believe it should be nominated for a third second AfD on the grounds that the notability issue is still not settled. – Athaenara ✉ 02:14, 26 September 2018 (UTC) 09:04, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, Athaenara, this is fair. By the way I see only one AFD plus one speedy deletion, not two AFDs in the past AFAICT. To PRehse, I would hope you would give the new article and the new-ish editor (around for a longish time but with only about 50 edits) a break for a little while, so the upcoming pro fight plus coverage happens, per discussion in the deletion review. Because I think they reasonably waited until reasons expressed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joseph Kropschot no longer applied, then re-created article in good faith. I am not myself very much conversant exactly upon notability standards for athletes, so beyond this I dunno. Thanks. --Doncram (talk) 03:49, 26 September 2018 (UTC)

Request not to consider the article for deletion as Aasan R. Rajendran has dedicated his life to save this art which is yet to get the limelight in media due to its native and unadulterated look. cheetah again
Hi PRehse: since you just placed a redirect in Acinonyx jubatus jubatus to East-Southern African cheetah, I would like to comment: there is NOT A SINGLE publication using 'East-Southern African cheetah' in conjunction with the Latin name, hence this is far from being a commonly used name!! Just have a look at the 190 references listed in Cheetah#References. The old name used for this subspecies in a few pre-2000 scientific articles was 'South African cheetah'. So I consider it misleading that a new name has been invented, pretending that this is a common one. I'm sure you are more familiar with wikipedia's practise re use of page names? -- BhagyaMani (talk) 10:25, 11 October 2018 (UTC)

Hello PRehse, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
- Backlog
As of 21 October 2018[update], there are 3650 unreviewed articles and the backlog now stretches back 51 days.
- Community Wishlist Proposal
- There is currently an ongoing discussion regarding the drafting of a Community Wishlist Proposal for the purpose of requesting bug fixes and missing/useful features to be added to the New Page Feed and Curation Toolbar.
- Please join the conversation as we only have until 29 October to draft this proposal!
- Project updates
- ORES predictions are now built-in to the feed. These automatically predict the class of an article as well as whether it may be spam, vandalism, or an attack page, and can be filtered by these criteria now allowing reviewers to better target articles that they prefer to review.
- There are now tools being tested to automatically detect copyright violations in the feed. This detector may not be accurate all the time, though, so it shouldn't be relied on 100% and will only start working on new revisions to pages, not older pages in the backlog.
- New scripts
- User:Enterprisey/cv-revdel.js(info) — A new script created for quickly placing {{copyvio-revdel}} on a page.

Articles are allowed one social-media link
Hi PRehse,
The policy as it exists states: WP:ELNO
Except for a link to an official page of the article's subject, one should generally avoid providing external links to:....
Which in turn directs to WP:ELOFFICIAL, which states:
An official link is a link to a website or other Internet service that meets both of the following criteria:Official links (if any) are provided to give the reader the opportunity to see what the subject says about itself. These links are normally exempt from the links normally to be avoided, but they are not exempt from the restrictions on linking.
- The linked content is controlled by the subject (organization or individual person) of the Wikipedia article.
- The linked content primarily covers the area for which the subject of the article is notable.
Which is followed by: WP:ELMIN
Normally, only one official link is included. If the subject of the article has more than one official website, then more than one link may be appropriate, under a very few limited circumstances.... More than one official link should be provided only when the additional links provide the reader with significant unique content and are not prominently linked from other official websites. For example, if the main page of the official website for an author contains a link to the author's blog and Twitter feed, then it is not appropriate to provide links to all three. Instead, provide only the main page of the official website in this situation.
Social media links should only be deleted to zero if a link to one is included in the subject's official website, if one such official website exists.
I'm referencing your edit on article Shavkat Rakhimov in this case btw. DA1 (talk) 15:23, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

Hello PRehse,
- Community Wishlist Survey – NPP needs you – Vote NOW
- Community Wishlist Voting takes place 16 to 30 November for the Page Curation and New Pages Feed improvements, and other software requests. The NPP community is hoping for a good turnout in support of the requests to Santa for the tools we need. This is very important as we have been asking the Foundation for these upgrades for 4 years.
- If this proposal does not make it into the top ten, it is likely that the tools will be given no support at all for the foreseeable future. So please put in a vote today.
- We are counting on significant support not only from our own ranks, but from everyone who is concerned with maintaining a Wikipedia that is free of vandalism, promotion, flagrant financial exploitation and other pollution.
- With all 650 reviewers voting for these urgently needed improvements, our requests would be unlikely to fail. See also The Signpost Special report: 'NPP: This could be heaven or this could be hell for new users – and for the reviewers', and if you are not sure what the wish list is all about, take a sneak peek at an article in this month's upcoming issue of The Signpost which unfortunately due to staff holidays and an impending US holiday will probably not be published until after voting has closed.

Causes of economic inequality
Hi! I saw your notification about this. Could you expand a bit? A url for the apparent source would help, for example. Because if you've shown that it was originally copied from elsewhere into Economic inequality before the split, then we'll have to clean that up too. Right now the content has been moved out of that page, and then history-deleted as A10 by RHaworth (I hope to learn in time why that was the right approach in this situation). I am working on a page that was recently deleted before called 'Rebecca Odeh'. I am working on fixing the page in Drafts and have a couple of questions to ask:
1) Can I reuse the name Rebecca Odeh (Fitness Public Figure)? 2) Can I use the same name as the deleted page or will I have to change the name of the Wikipedia page? 3) Can I reuse the same material from a deleted page if I have verified the links I used for citation and removed all sources of publicity? 4) Where can I find a guidelines document for rules and regulations for pages on Wikipedia? 5) Is there a page length for any Wikipedia page in general?
I would love to learn more about using Wikipedia as I am intrigued with editing pages.
I appreciate your kind attention to my message.
Best Regards
