Pages unrelated to Wikipedia again
I've nominated the nonsense subpages you created for deletion; see Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User talk:Top 50. As I said before, Wikipedia is not a free host, blog, or webspace provider. Again, I'm asking you to start listening to what other users (including myself) are telling you, specifically the importance of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You've already been the subject of a request for comment, and I'm tempted to open another on you just for repeatedly ignoring the advice other editors have given you under the assumption that you would follow it. It's good that you want to contribute to Wikipedia, but you can't just dismiss the policies and guidelines and act as if this website is your own personal playground. You have the potential to be a highly valued member of the community here, but if you continue to behave and edit the way you've been doing since you arrived, your time here will not be enjoyable. It would be appreciated if your edits were in support of the policies and guidelines rather than your own personal preferences. 2005

I'm sorry for coming down so hard on you. I'm sure the lyrics pages were legitimate mistakes. The pages will simply be deleted and provided you don't go about posting copyrighted pages elsewhere, it'll just be chalked up to an understandable mistake. Don't sweat it, everyone makes mistakes from time to time. I do advise that you read the guidelines on copyright, though, as some things that people think are fair to use may not be. Happy birthday in advance! By the way, you can sign your posts by typing two minus signs, then four tilde characters. Or hitting the 'signature with timestamp' button at the top of the edit window. --Yamla at 3:03 p.m. (central time) August 15, 2005

Age Restriction

I don't believe there's an age restriction for membership on the Wikipedia. I suppose it is possible that you have to be eighteen but I doubt it. Besides, you are eighteen on Tuesday. --Yamla 3:15p.m., August 18, 2005 (USA central time)

Re. the Proud Family movie

I placed the redirect there because the page was blank. Now that you've started adding things, that's fine with me. I would suggest you fix it up more, however; for a general idea of how the page should look, see Rocket Power: Island of the Menehune, another made-for-TV movie.

Finally, just a etiquette note...please do not edit other users' user pages. Conversation is supposed to go on the User talk page (the "Discussion" tab). Ral315 02:43, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

Closed VfD pages

Please don't alter closed VfD/AfD discussions like you did on the Disney Channel songs list. It won't do anything useful and corrupts the database. There is a Votes for Undeletion channel you can go through if you feel that the article was wrongly deleted, but I rather doubt something with a more or less unanimous consensus for deletion is going to get restored. The Suite Life redirect

I've reversed your blanking of the The Suite Life redirect. Please use Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion if you wish to remove the redirection. Simply blanking pages on Wikipedia is not the correct way to remove bad content. TexasAndroid 21:26, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Uploaded images.

Hi, I just saw you uploaded Image:Marvelcave2.jpg and Image:Grandfathersm.jpg without adding any copyright notices. The images look like professional work, are you sure that they are not in violation of copyright? /probell (Talk) 3:57, 21 September 2005 (UTC) (Edited twice, 'cause of butterfingers)

Well, I had no objection to the images themselves. They definitely look like they could belong in Wikipedia. What I was worried about was that you did not provide a copyright statement and since the images look very professional they led me to suspect that they might be copyrighted. (If they are we can't use them on Wikipedia, unless we are given permission by the copyright holder). Where did you get the images? Do you own them yourself or did you download them from a site? These things are (unfortunately) very important, since using copyrighted images without permission is illegal.
Check out Wikipedia:Image use policy to begin with and read further on Wikipedia:Copyrights#Image guidelines. All the available tags for the images are on Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. /probell (Talk) 21:27, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Just one thing, please remember to sign your posts by adding ~~~~ at the end. Wikipedia will automatically substitute that for your user name and the current time. /probell (Talk) 22:02, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Movies Rated PG

I think Category:Movies Rated PG is irrelevant because it is US-centric. A movie may have different ratings in other countries. Furthermore, how are you going to categorise a foreign movie that is rated PG in US — listing it under the rating in its original country or per US rating? Besides, in some countries, a movie may have two different ratings for its theatrical and DVD release. By the way, please don't remove the notice while the nomination is being considered. However, you are welcome to voice your objection here. Thank you for your understanding. --*drew 02:02, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your revert of my edits to Most Wanted The Signature Edition

 1. Please do not revert my introduction of a redirect to that article again. Most of the information in that article was already present on Most Wanted (Hilary Duff album). Like I said in my edit summary, there's no point whatsoever having the same information in two places. Closely related to this, they are essentially the same album: unless the main article became too big and had to be split off to reduce its size, there's no reason to have different articles on different versions of the same album. See In This Skin for an example of this.
 2. Please use Template:Album infobox instead of raw syntax when editing album articles. It creates consistency among them, and is far easier to edit.
 3. A lot of your edits do not conform to Wikipedia's manual of style. Please read the guidelines there. Other useful links to visit are The five pillars of Wikipedia, How to edit a page, Help pages, Tutorial and How to write a great article. Please consult Wikipedia:WikiProject Music and Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums also.
 4. Cite your sources so that others can verify your work. Thank you. Extraordinary Machine 10:44, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
 5. On articles such as In Search of Santa, you've copied and pasted content from other websites onto Wikipedia. Wikipedia, as a free encyclopedia, cannot accept copyrighted text. Please remove any copyrighted text you have added to Wikipedia. Thank you. Extraordinary Machine 12:06, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

TS Arlene 2005

Hi, we only create articles for major storms (Dennis, Emily, Katrina, Ophelia, Rita, Stan, Wilma). Arlene was definitely not notable, and I've redirected it. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 02:40, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It's consensus; Tropical Storm Alpha got redirected to the main article. Tropical Storm Wilma also got redirected to the main article before it became huge. It's just not needed, especially if the article's going to be a copy (relatively, at least) of its section at the main article. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 02:48, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
That's correct. You should always ask and put it up for a group vote before creating articles. Arlene was not notable; it did very little damage. CrazyC83 03:17, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop changing the article. Get your facts right please, the storm is no longer active. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 02:55, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

EDIT: Btw, there is no need to list active storms. "Last storm dissipated" means the FINAL storm fo the season's dissipation date. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 02:56, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Let me rephrase myself. Wilma is no longer active, as the National hurricane Center has stopped issuing advisories. The "Last storm dissipated" means the last storm for the season - while the season is still active, we could still get a Beta or Gamma. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 03:01, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
We use the National Hurricane Center as a base as that is the official forecast RSMC appointed by the UN. Therefore wilma is NOT active. I will be forced to include you at WP:VIP if you don't cease. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 03:07, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
That is correct...the "Last storm dissipated" column is meant to determine when the last storm actually dissipated in the season. While the current date (October 25) is currently the date of the last storm, there are still 5 weeks left in hurricane season and 10 weeks left in 2005. True, Wilma is not active, but there are systems out there that could become Beta (and there could still be storms in November and - although unlikely - December). That should only be filled when the season/year is over and all storms have dissipated. CrazyC83 03:15, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I'm not sure about these path images you're uploading. They say copyrighted, but don't say by whom - which is equivalent to saying no source. Furthermore, they don't really add much and clutter up the article, as there will be a full season path map when the season is over. --Golbez 21:58, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 00:18, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
In case you didn't realise, ALL of your edits have been reverted by someone, sooner or later. It's quite a clear sign that they're unilateral edits that are not needed in the article (the section for each storm already lists the life of the storm, for crying out loud!). You have been listed at WP:VIP#RU Moderate for your continued unneeded edits. -- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 00:31, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

2005 Atlantic hurricane season

I guess I accidentally got rid of them when I was reverting the the images back to alternating...sorry. You can put them back in if you want.

Tropical Storm Alpha

sorry, but you're wrong there. Why not check out the Hurricane Ophelia article? It's a Category 1. Or all the articles in Category:Tropical storms . --Revolución (talk) 21:36, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Hurricane force" is not a requirement for an article on a tropical cyclone. --Revolución (talk) 21:43, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
First, read WP:CIVIL. I suspect the article you created was about a storm which did not cause any deaths or much damage at all, and that is what was considered in the creation of the Alpha article. And if you want to see a consensus on whether this article should be deleted or not, you should go through the WP:AFD process and not try to put a speedy delete tag on the article. And please don't create separate sections on my talk page with "!!!!!!!!!!!", please keep it in one section. --Revolución (talk) 21:51, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Images

PLEASE stop uploading hurricane images from Wunderground and associated sites. You're saying these are copyrighted images released by the author. First of all, that's useless unless you tell us who the author is, and secondly, I'm pretty sure Wunderground has done no such thing. --Golbez 01:23, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tcatron565, you have been warned over and over and over about copyrighted content. Please do not post anything else (images or text) without first reading and understanding Wikipedia:Copyrights. If there is any part of that policy that you do not understand, please ask for clarification. Until you understand all parts of it and you agree to abide by the policy (and by Copyright law), please do not post anything further. --Yamla 03:38, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Tcatron565, even after additional warnings, you have continued to blatantly violate copyright, this time lying about copyright attributions such as that at Image:At20056 sat.jpg. I am very disappointed in your actions. I have been working with you since August, 2005 to try to stop your repeated violations and nothing seems to be working. I am afraid I am going to have to request administrator intervention in this case. I am disappointed, I expected better from you. --Yamla 14:32, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Image:At20056 sat.jpg, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material.

This article appears to be a direct copy from this site. As a copyright violation, Image:At20056 sat.jpg appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Image:At20056 sat.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk::Image:At20056 sat.jpg. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at Image:At20056 sat.jpg, after describing the release on the talk page. However, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words.

Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia.

Request for comment

I have made a request for comment about this user's repeated copyright violations at RFC Tcatron565. --Yamla 14:47, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your comments on my talk page. In my opinion, your repeated copyright violations over the past ten or twelve weeks have gone beyond something we can resolve. You've been warned by many users over many weeks and have seemingly been unwilling to change (or at least, have continued uploading copyrighted images right up until today). Please feel free to explain yourself at RFC Tcatron565. This is where the discussion will take place. --Yamla 15:03, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Tcatron565, please make sure you are watching the RFC page. If you aren't sure how to do this, please contact me and I'll tell you how. As I note on the discussion page there, you certainly do perform useful edits. The RFC is really honestly for people other than myself (and others who have already warned you) to try to figure out the best approach to these continued problems. --Yamla 16:50, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There is an "active systems" entry in the infobox, not "active storms". Please do not make changes in the article which affects the TEMPLATE in effect.-- NSLE (Communicate!) <Contribs> 00:11, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 2nd Way to Split the U.S.A.

Tcatron565, I read your 2nd Way to Split the U.S.A., and I still believe the two articles (The Southwestern States (of the U.S.A.) and The Southern States (of the U.S.A.)) should be merged with Southern United States. If you wish to discuss this, let's do so on the articles' talk pages, and give an opportunity for others to voice their opinion. In any case, DO NOT remove the merge notices until a consensus is reached. Thank you. Owen× 01:47, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

FINE DELEATE ALL MY PAGES ON THE REGIONS IF YOU WANT TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just tell me when they are gone so I can leave Wikipedia forever. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tcatron565 (talkcontribs)
There's no reason to get irate. All I said was, let's sit down like civilized people and discuss this. If your articles contain valuable information that doesn't exist on Southern United States, that information should be added to Southern United States. I don't think there is justification in creating a new set of articles just because you came up with a new way to divide the US. But this is what discussion pages are for; as long as you keep the merge notices in place, we can check and decide what makes the most sense. Owen× 02:03, 20 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 2005 Statistics

Thanks for liking the 2005 table. As for doing the previous years, I do NOT intend to do that at this time. However, what I can do instead is to create a toolkit for constructing them. This would be a set of templates that would be used to construct the table. An example can be seen in how the navigation button bar for the season is constructed. However, before I even do that I think that it would be wise to wait a few weeks and see how things settle out. That table is being updated in all sorts of interesting ways at this time, and until it has settled down doing the toolkit may not be a very good idea. (I am not interested in forcing people to edit templates to affect the table at this time. Later on they will be a powerful maintenance tool, but right now they will interfere with the finalization of the form of these tables.) --EMS | Talk 05:28, 1 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The image of Gamma you added was unsourced. I removed it from the article, unless you can provide a source. Likewise, your Delta picture has been removed until copyright status has been confirmed. NSLE (讨论+extra CVU) 00:36, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that Delta has an NOAA stamp on them. Gamma's is from Accuweather, and may be copyrighted. NSLE (讨论+extra CVU) 00:37, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Citing sources

Thanks for your edits to Aly & AJ. Unfortunately, you forgot to WP:CITE your changes, so they were reverted. --Yamla 22:39, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This message is regarding the page Aly & AJ. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. --Yamla 23:11, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but you still need to cite your sources. Please read WP:CITE to learn how to do this. --Yamla 00:21, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits to Hilary Duff have been reverted for the same reason as above. As Yamla has requested (and as you are requested to every time you edit a page), please cite your sources so that others can verify your work. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 22:30, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Album covers, etc. on biographical articles

Copyrighted fair use images, such as album covers and film posters, should never be used for decorative purposes in articles. See Wikipedia:Fair use for more information. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 22:33, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have restored the excess album covers and film posters/DVD covers to the Hilary Duff article, without responding to my message above. I have reverted. Please consult Wikipedia:Fair use. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 22:44, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This message is regarding the page Hilary Duff. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla 15:40, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It is vandalism because yet again, you forgot to cite your sources. Also, yet again, you are posting excessive album covers to the article without responding to Extraordinary Machine's comments above. You have been warned repeatedly about these things. That you continue to ignore them leads me to believe you are deliberately vandalising these pages. --Yamla 15:50, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the page Hilary Duff: this is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla 15:51, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia:Fair use, "The material must contribute significantly to the article (e.g. identify the subject of an article, or specifically illustrate relevant points or sections within the text) and must not serve a purely decorative purpose." Additionally, the image description page must contain, "For each article for which fair use is claimed, the name of the article and a "fair use rationale" as explained in Wikipedia:Image description page. The rationale must be presented in a manner that can be clearly understood and which is relevant to the article in question." The request for comment that you were the subject of was addressing image copyright problems, so I suggest that you read Wikipedia:Fair use closely. Also, I'd appreciate it if you were to post on my talk page properly, i.e. by posting new sections at the bottom of the page and signing your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Extraordinary Machine 16:05, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

User pages and "fair use"

Hi, sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to point out that according to Wikipedia:Fair use#Policy we are not allowed to use unfree (so called "fair use") images on (among other things) user pages (because they are only legal for strictly encyclopedic usage). I'm referring to the albumcovers in the list of CD's you own. Please either remove all such images from your user page, or replace them with free licensed alternatives. That will ensure that you user page won't be a potential legal problem (however unlikely it seems) for the project. Thanks for understanding. --Sherool (talk) 16:18, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Chart positions

As you are clearly unwilling to WP:CITE chart positions, I ask you to please refrain from updating chart positions on any Wikipedia article. If you feel you have a valid citation for a chart position and you really wish to update the information on an article, please either post your planned change on the article's discussion page or track down another editor, provide them with the citation and chart position change, and verify it with them first. If you continue inserting chart figures without citing them, you may be blocked for your vandalism of articles. Remember, linking to an artist's biography is not the same as citing the chart position of one of that artist's albums. --Yamla 17:57, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You've added unsourced chart positions and record certifications to the Avril Lavigne article, again without citing your sources as you have been asked to here, and as you are requested to every time you edit a page. This is nothing against you personally, but we need all editors to cite their sources so that their work can be verified. Extraordinary Machine 22:54, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I think the edits were sourced this time around. I'll make a note to Extraordinary Machine about this. --Yamla 00:30, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, it turns out that the album charts were cited but you made a great number of changes to the Singles chart while only providing citations for the U.S. chart positions. You claim, for example, that Complicated hit #1 in Canada, #3 in the United Kingdom, and #1 in Australia. Your citation provides support for your claims for the U.S. chart position but does not cite the positions in the other countries. This is a step forward, Tcatron565, but it is still short of what editors are required to do. Further, I had already asked you not to update chart positions without tracking down an editor to run your changes past first. I think it is clear that you are trying here, but please understand that it is frustrating when we ask you over and over to do something and you simply refuse, often just ignoring our comments. --Yamla 03:44, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding your edits to the discography section at Hilary Duff: Tcatron, I'm afraid that Wikipedia articles can't be used as references for other Wikipedia articles. Extraordinary Machine 15:21, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tcatron565, you forgot to WP:CITE your sources with your recent edit of Hilary Duff. Was this deliberate? --Yamla 16:19, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You are right, I withdraw my complaint. I was expecting the citation to appear right by the chart position but you put it above (which is probably a better idea). As a suggestion because I am apparently blind, you may want to note in your Edit summary (the line edit just above the Save page button) that the chart position is cited at the top of the table. This will make me look less stupid. Thanks, Tcatron565. --Yamla 16:42, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tcatron565, I just wanted to say you did a great job with your chart position edits today. You cited things well. Thank you very much. --Yamla 16:21, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

2011 hurricane season

Good job editing the 2011 hurricane season page. We'll have to settle for the other page (even that might be taken down), but You can vote in regards to the other one here -- Eddie

The other page was deleted (too bad nobody read it). If You're going to make the page again, I advise You wait, for now You should vote for undeletion on the other page.

While many of your edits to hurricane-related articles are in good faith, they get reverted very, very quickly. Tcatron565, I notice that you are uploading a number of pictures once again. You had previously been warned about this because of the number of times you violated copyright. I strongly encourage you to ask other editors about the image you plan to upload prior to just uploading them. That was the determination of the RfC. I'm quite happy to help you out with these copyright issues. I'm sure others are as well. But I am concerned that you seem to be falling back into old habits. --Yamla 17:56, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It would help with images if you specified the particular URL where you grabbed the image from. Amazon's terms of use/copyright policies are at this location (well, for Canada anyway. It specifically notes that images are copyright Amazon or the content supplier. What that means is that Amazon or someone else owns the copyright and that no license is given for us (that is, Wikipedia) to reuse it. Now, it isn't quite as simple as that. Book covers, for example, are considered fair use in many situations. But as a general rule, you should not use anything you find on Amazon. In fact, as a general rule, you should not use any image you find anywhere on the Internet unless the site specifically gives you permission. Pictures that you take yourself are a different matter. Generally, you own the copyright on any picture that you take yourself. As always, it isn't as straightforward as that
Please please ask if you want me to explain any part of that or if you have questions on any part. Copyright and fair use are not easy concepts to grasp. But if you follow the general rule, you'll probably be okay. As to the picture on my user page, a fellow editor gave it to me. Very nice, I agree. I have to remember to thank him or her. --Yamla 03:33, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The content of your user space

I'm afraid that you will have to get rid of all of the "fun" pages that have nothing to do with contributing to Wikipedia that you have created within your user space (User talk:Tcatron565/Hilary Duff Charts and User talk:Tcatron565/Top 50's 2006 Hits, for example). Per Wikipedia:User page, your user page is not a personal homepage, and Wikipedia is not a free host, blog, or webspace provider. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 23:10, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I "have" User:Extraordinary Machine/Sandbox, which I use to develop articles without having my edits instantly "go live". This is completely different from writing pages and pages of material that has nothing to do with contributing to Wikipedia. Please either redirect the pages to your user page or list them at WP:MFD, or I will be forced to do so myself. Extraordinary Machine 02:14, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
User talk page archives are permitted at Wikipedia:Talk pages, as in most cases the discussions contained within them are related to Wikipedia (in fact archiving talk pages is both customary and useful; see Wikipedia:How to archive a talk page). I don't see why you are being so hostile. I'm not trying to be your enemy or annoy you or make you mad, despite what you may think. But whether you like it or not, Wikipedia has policies and guidelines that users are expected to abide to. Time and time again you have chosen to ignore them, and because of your behaviour you became the subject of a request for comment not very long ago. This is not negotiable; either you get rid of those pages, or I'm listing them at WP:MFD. Thank you. Extraordinary Machine 02:27, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Tcatron, do it. Either redirect, or put them up for speedy deletion as user request, or MFD. Read WP:NOT as well. If you don't do it, then there will be others who will do it. And when that happens, don't remove the MFD tag, or you will get blocked. NSLE (T+C) 02:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is NOT allowed. We're not a free web provider, or a blog. We're here to build an encyclopedia. The only thing on my user space is my sandbox, and my awards page - barnstars I've received from others. You will have to do it, or we'll do it for you. NSLE (T+C) 02:42, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, fun subpages are not allowed. Merging into userpage is also not recommended, but I see no wrong with that, so okay. But why will it take so long? If it takes so long, we'll be glad to do it for you - the sooner the subpages go, the better. NSLE (T+C) 02:47, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Episode lists can have links to episode articles, yes, but that is not strictly what they are for. They can also have brief episode descriptions for each episode. Most of the episode descriptions you deleted did have their own page, but were merged with the episode list. Look here, here and here. All of those pages were voted on, and the verdict was to merge them with the episode list. - Nights Not End 04:28, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How stupid is that, that this website logs you in by the cookies you have! You want to know what stinks? You know Mrs.Weidinger's poster we all signed? Well someone took it over to her class. And I had written,"I'm so glad you're coming back. Mr.Holland was getting kind of boring!" And then guess who read it? Mr.Holland!!!! And what's worse is, if Mrs.Weidinger leaves again anytime soon,he'll be our sub!!!!!! Thanks to Dustin the blabermouth, I could still be alright with Mr.Holland! I think I did hurt his feelings, though. Now I feel even worse because my mom just said that I shouldn't write somthing like that if they can come over and read it.(especially when they have the authority over your grades!)Well,I'm really glad that Mrs.Weidinger is coming back!!!!! I should probably be getting off the compuper. Bye!User:Gillybeans95

Unsourced "song meanings" are a violation of Wikipedia's no original research policy; I have removed them. In a previous message on my talk page, you wrote: "it seems like everytime I make a wrong move, you're all up in my face! It's like you're watching my back. Please, when I do something wrong, wait for 4 days, then tell me". I'm not "watching your back" (although Wikipedia does permit users to track an editor's contributions if they are repeatedly making mistakes), but when you violate one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines I'm not going to just clean up after you (sorry, but that's exactly what myself and other editors have been doing) without asking you not to do it again just because you don't want me to. Various users have pointed out specific problems with your edits many times, directed you to the appropriate policy and guideline pages (including WP:CITE) many times, and you continue to make the same mistakes as before. You can't just expect to be left alone (for four or however many days) to continue to do whatever you please. Also, please restore User talk:Tcatron565 as if somebody edits there you are automatically notified of a new message, but not it is left on a subpage like this one. Image Tagging Image:Tsrcast.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Tsrcast.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use GFDL-self to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Thanks for uploading Image:Billyyates2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Re:Category:Hilary Duff

The article is a list of albums. It's not a page pertaining specifically to Hilary Duff, or any one artist, or else every artist mentioned on that page would have their own category link at the bottom. If anything, the Hilary Duff article should have a "see also" link on it. Read up on the MoS regarding how categories are used before you use your "DUH!" attitude on my talk page; it's rude. -- eo 21:42, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the desire to create all the categories, but most artists simply do not need their own category. Since Hilary Duff does have her own, it makes sense to place all articles about her (her albums, her singles, etc) into a category to keep them contained, but a category isn't used to link every article within Wikipedia that happens to mention her name. Same goes for any artist. -- eo 21:49, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this article, I removed your link to Now That's What I Call Music! 21 (U.S. series). That article has been AfD-voted against *twice*(!... once is enough), and hence speedy-deleted. The reasons for deletion will no longer apply when it is actually released, but until then, please do not link to such articles.

The article has been turned into a redirect rather than simply deleted to discourage creation at present whilst not blocking the possibility of its creation *once* the album is released.

Fourohfour 09:28, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(Copied comment from my page where it was originally posted:-)
Well, no one really visits that page anyway.
True, but there still have to be standards for semi-obscure articles, otherwise it reflects badly on Wikipedia, and encourages people to treat it as a fansite (for whatever) and create non-encylopedic articles.
Plus, if they're like me they'll see the no create page and will not try to create it.
That's a good point, but linking to a redirected page will probably cause confusion.
Also, the CD will be released less than 3 weeks away! I know everything about it. I created the Now #1's. Plus, all that's been released is the track listings and its released date. Please! Let me create it.
I've got news for you; an older version of the article was AfDed, and I voted in *favour* of it for that reason (provided it was cleaned up a lot and the speculative material replaced with only known facts). Everyone else voted against it! So if you create it before the release, it may well be deleted by someone else anyway. Please respect the vote until the album comes out, or it's likely your work will be wasted.
BTW, I'm kind of opposed to "Now!" CD articles and the like, because there's little or nothing of interest to say about them apart from "these are the tracks". Wikipedia isn't meant to be a simple repository of information.... But when I asked for comments about whether they should be kept or removed, there were very few replies, not enough to get consensus on the matter. I figure if we're going to have them, they may as well be organised properly, but that's as far as my interest goes. Fourohfour 09:54, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Top 100 Kids

Hi, I noticed you've been adding this chart to multiple song pages. You listed the reference as http://www.freewebs.com/alyandaj565565/ which is a freewebs page, one that anyone can make. As far as I know, there is no official Billboard magazine chart for kids singles. Thus, I am removing the "top 100 kids singles" references on song pages, as it seems to be a non-notable made-up chart. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:03, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to get into an argument with you over whether kids and adults are equal.. the fact is Canada, UK & Australia each have official chart companies (like Billboard), and kids don't have an official singles chart, as they don't have a country.
You said: It's a well organized company who looks at tons of websites. The only reason they have to use freewebs is because they don't have a accesible way to make a website from other places.
Can you name the company, as there is no contact information on the freewebs page. I seriously doubt the notability and accuracy of charts compiled be a company who uses a freewebs page. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:13, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see.. this is just a hunch, but could this "small company" be comprised of Mrs. Dixon's 5th Grade Class of 05-06? I don't see any scientific method used to compile the charts. per WP:SONG, the consensus is that official and notable world charts (United World, top40-tracks) should be included. I fail to see the importance of including information about this chart on Wikipedia, however I will stop removing them for now (my show is on!) -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:36, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
(By "my show is on" I meant that I had to go watch TV) Please tell me why you think that the "Top 100 Kids Songs" chart is notable enough to be included in Wikipedia articles? -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 01:28, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You should read WP:SPAM and WP:NOT. Wikipedia is not supposed to be used to promote commercial websites. And of course Billboard started small too, but they have an actual "scientific" way of creating charts. If you wish, you may open an RFC to ask other Wiki editors about this issue. Feel free to ask me if you have any more questions -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:19, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Without discussing the issue or seeking consensus, you've removed the infoboxes at Most Wanted (Hilary Duff album) and I'm Not Dead and replaced them with HTML syntax, which many users find extremely difficult to alter. Please stop: this is against WikiProject Albums guidelines. As Flowerparty said above, if you want to propose a change to the current infobox, then do so at Template talk:Album infobox rather than simply removing the current template. Read history and Wikipedia policies

I would ask you to read comments left in edit histories and in particular, Wikipedia guidlines on album pages, which clearly state to use only the original (i.e. first) release date, which in the case of I'm Not Dead (which is what brought me to write this) isn't the US release date (and also, don't just ignore it when a comment is left within an article, unless it sounds like its unjustified). Thanks in advance! - RedHot 11:12, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, if that's all it was, you should've said something in your edit summaries. I would've added it as a comment or something. Anyway, Ireland definitely (I know this was, but it's always an extremely safe bet to assume Ireland's release for CDs is the Friday before UK, since 99.9% of time it is). I've also changed it back to just one date as per blah blah blah... - RedHot 09:07, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Everlife_main.jpg.

Rihanna - SOS

Please cite a source which says "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)" is the title of the song. Billboard, other official charts, and even the single cover state simply "SOS". I have added a speedy del tag to move the page back. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 19:40, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I noticed that you create sandboxes on unexistant user pages. It is strongly recommended that you instead use subpages (like User:Tcatron565/Sandbox). -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 19:47, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Here are some hints on how to correctly add images: Hello!

Thanks for uploading some pictures to Wikipedia. I wanted to make sure you were aware of some of the requirements and good practices for uploaded images.

 • Pick an image name.
When uploading an image, pick a file name that is descriptive, and unique. Remember that many images may be uploaded about the same topic, and remember that names are case sensitive.
 • Source the image.
On the image description page, explain where the image came from. If you created the image yourself, then say so. If it's from the web, give a URL. If it's a screenshot of a movie or game, or a scan from a book, give the title.
 • Provide copyright and license information.
This part is a little bit trickier, but it's very important. The copyright of the image generally belongs to whomever created it.
If it's a photograph you took, or an image you created (modifying an image that already exists doesn't count) in software like Photoshop or GIMP, then you own the copyright. To upload it to Wikipedia, you must agree to license it under the GFDL (which allows anyone to use it, but requires that they give credit to the original author and requires that any further edit to the image be licensed under the GFDL as well) or release it into the public domain (which allows anyone to use it for any purpose without restriction.) Do this by placing an appropriate tag on the image description page, like GFDL or PD. Be sure to mention that you created the image. If you're using PD, you may also want to use NoRightsReserved, since there is some dispute as to whether one may grant items into the public domain.
If you didn't create the image, or the copyright somehow belongs to another party (like a screenshot, which you might "create", but the copyright belongs to the author of the movie or video game), then you need to find another tag that describes the copyright status of the image. Images used on Wikipedia need to be free for our use and the use of sites which reproduce our content. This means that images cannot have a restriction such as "only for use by Wikipedia", or "for non-commercial use only", or "for educational use". Images without a free license may be usable in certain articles under fair use, but such a use should be justified on the image description page.
 • Describe the image.
To another reader, the image may not be immediately understood. A caption in an article doesn't explain the image to a visitor who sees it on its image page. Put a brief explanation of what is in the image on the image description page, similar to what you might include in a caption on an article.

Thanks for uploading Image:Hduffh.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: TemplateName.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 20:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image problems

Tcatron565, you know better than to upload images and mark them as units of currency. Please don't do this again, it isn't funny. --Yamla 20:06, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moving pages

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thank you. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 23:06, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some places list the song as "SOS (Rescue Me)", but the official song title is "SOS"; see Billboard, Amazon and the Def Jam record label. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:38, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, Wikipedia articles are not reliable sources for use on other Wikipedia articles. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 22:33, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My sources are Billboard magazine and the single cover itself, which carry much more weight than AOL Music. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 23:30, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think I've found out why some sources say "SOS (Rescue Me)": if you check out a previous version of the SOS cover, it says "SOS (Rescue Me)". The record label must have removed the extra part at the last minute, and some websites/channels haven't bothered to change the title. And that the page title "has been changed too much" isn't a valid reason not to move it back; Wikipedia has to reflect the facts either way. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 23:38, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images

 1. You added a new Rihanna image saying that it was sourced; the URL on the image page only says "mp3.com", but the image needs to have an exact source URL (and preferably a fair use rationale).
 2. The "My Pictures" section on your user page includes fair use images, those cannot be displayed anywhere on Wikipedia except in the article namespace. I request that you remove the image thumbs, except for Image:Noimageforcd.gif, Image:Newi.gif, Image:Mypatty.gif and Image:2andonehalfoutof5.gif, which are under free use licenses. Thanks -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:47, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

adding images to number ones pages

I reverted your changes. Please don't make huge modifications like this without a Talk Page discussion first. These pages are lists - they do not need images. Single/album covers should be used for single/album/artist articles. Not all singles had pictures and the way you added them upset the formatting of the pages. Also, if we add images to these pages, we would have to do it for all years and for all formats that have number-ones lists so as to not show POV to only certain artists. Please do not re-add them unless there is a consensus on a) whether they should be there and if so b) how they should be arranged. Thanks. -- eo 01:49, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tcatron565. Firstly, thanks for your response to the images topic I wrote about above; I appreciate it. Just wanted to ask you to please be careful with all your links to that Top Hits Online website. Those charts are not official - meaning that they are determined by internet users who contribute their own personal charts. Moreover, the reviews on that site are by user contributions (not professionals). When I clicked one of the links you posted, it brought up a review page where the first thing listed was a summary you wrote. This isn't gonna go over for an encyclopedia and if you keep adding them, people are just going to remove them. As far as obtining song lyrics from THO, I assume that would be ok.... but just keep tabs on it so you don't waste your time adding stuff that people will revert anyway. See ya. -- eo 16:30, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NN means "not notable"; something not important enough for inclusion in the encyclopedia. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 18:06, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Myra

Heya...I had to revert out your addition to Myra (disambiguation) since you didn't provide a link with it to a page on Wikipedia or elsewhere. If you can provide that, go ahead and add it back in. Thx --Kickstart70-T-C 01:09, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

number one hits, again

Tcatron, please - again - do not make huge changes to these lists without discussing on the Talk Pages first and getting a consenses from editors. These are lists of HITS/SONGS/SINGLES. Adding the albums is just overkill. In addition, there are number one lists for R&B, Dance, Modern Rock and U.S. Albums. Some songs appear on more than one album (soundtracks, compilations, etc.) and that just complicates matters. Many editors have contributed to these lists and have utilized the same list-template for each page. All the formatting on all these pages is identical. Let's not make one list vastly different from all the others. Thanks. -- eo 14:43, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images

Please remove the Fair use images from your userpage. Thanks in advance! -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 01:00, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the fair use images that need to go are Aly & AJ, Rihanna, JoJo, PCD, the Disney Channel box images and the radio disney logo. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 01:04, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
oh, I see, you need to remove the images from the templates themselves. Fair use images aren't allowed in user space. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 01:07, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You still need to remove the images from LifewithDerek LizzieMcGuire Phil of the Future SisterSister BuzzMaggie Kim Possible User WITCH, I have remvoed them from the other ones. You also have to move those templates to have "User" before them, because they are user templates. I have also moved the others, but I no longer want to clean up after you. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 22:01, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Extraordinary Machine 12:51, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
