Goin' Bulilit (lit. Goin' Kids) is a sketch comedy show broadcast on and by ABS-CBN in The Philippines. It is a gag show featuring children covering adult roles in various comedic situations. The show's title is a reference to an earlier sketch comedy show, Goin' Bananas, which starred veteran actors Christopher de Leon, Edgar Mortiz, and the late actors, Jay Ilagan and Johnny Delgado. The show's format is also somewhat akin to another previously aired children's gag show, Ang TV, which launched the careers of child stars in the 90s. Both Goin' Bananas and Ang TV were part of ABS-CBN's line-up.

Overview

Scheduling

Goin' Bulilit is aired every Sunday at 6:00PM on ABS-CBN.

Production

The show was created by Edgar Mortiz, who co-directs with his son, Frasco Mortiz. Roderick Victoria serves as Creative Manager. The creative/writing team is led by headwriter Sherwin Buenvenida, and includes writers Rolf Mahilom, Josel Garlitos, Toffie Runas, Yani Yuzon and Badjie Mortiz.

Ratings

Goin Bulilit is currently leading the Sunday primetime viewing slot with weekly nationwide ratings not lower than 30% (31.4% in Manila), according to AC Nielsen. It is one of the most successful comedy shows on Philippine television today. Rival network, GMA 7, replicated the show with their own version entitled Bubblegang JR, which was later canceled due to low ratings.
