Sheohar Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 40 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Bihar state in eastern India.

Raghunath Jha was involved in the advocacy resulted in the Bihar Legislative Assembly declaring Sheohar to be a District.[citation needed] He represented the constituency for various political parties and was elected to parliament from Goplganj in 1999 and from Bettiah parliamentary constituencies in 2004.[citation needed] He had previously lost the electoral contest in Sheohar in 1991, against Hari Kishore Singh.[citation needed] In 2005 his son, Ajit Jha, was elected to represent the Sheohar Assembly constituency.[citation needed]

Anand Mohan was elected twice in 1996 and 1998 respectively.[citation needed]

In 2004 Sitaram Singh of R.J.D represented Sheohar parliamentary constituency, but as of the electorate of Sheohar rejected him, his security was forfeited and stood 3rd. The electorate of Sheohar chose Rama Devi of B.J.P who is currently Member of Parliament from Sheohar.
