So long Aaron, there were so many things I'd like to have ranted to you about. I wonder if you ever read Beneath the Wheel. I'm reminded of it now. The first time I encountered you, Aaron, I was only 15. And today, after a very long journey, I can truly say you were one of my Wikipedian role models. Though I have never met you personally, and I know now that I never will, all I can share now are my condolences at your untimely passing. Aaron, I strongly disagree with some of your methods, but I am also very disturbed about how prosecutorial zeal seemed to outweigh good judgment about what methods and outcomes would be appropriate in your situation. One of my favorite subjects at the moment is George Washington's Farewell Address in which he wrote, "Relying on (my Country's) kindness... and actuated by that fervent love towards it, which is so natural to a man, who views it in the native soil of himself and his progenitors for several generations; I anticipate with pleasing expectation that retreat, in which I promise myself to realize, without alloy, the sweet enjoyment of partaking, in the midst of my fellow-citizens, the benign influence of good laws under a free government..." I profoundly regret that our government seems to have treated you with such excessive harshness, and I am deeply saddened that your life ended as it did.
