F.C. Internazionale Milano will take part in the 2013–14 season of the Italian Serie A. This will be the club's 82th[clarification needed] consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. They will also take part in the Coppa Italia. This is the first time since 1999, that Inter failed to qualify for either UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League.

  • 12 June: Inter announce that Javier Zanetti has been handed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Inter until 2014.
  • 13 June: Walter Samuel signs a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2014.
  • 2 July: Inter and Deutsche Bank sign a partnership agreement, with Deutsche Bank becoming the club's new top sponsor.
  • 5 July: Juan Pablo Carrizo signs a two-year contract extension that will run until 30 June 2015.
  • 6 July: Dejan Stanković terminates his contract with the club a year early by mutual consent.
  • 10 July: Both Marco Benassi and Francesco Bardi sign contract extensions with the club, keeping them at Inter until 30 June 2017. Both players will also join Livorno on a loan for the upcoming season.
  • 15 November: The Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir elected as new Inter President replacing Massimo Moratti who will remain as honorable Inter's president
