LM2000, with all due respect I was totally provoked there. It was baiting of the highest order, winding me up on their perception of consistency when in fact it's anything but. There's no point arguing with them because they are set in their ways, but there's equally no call for them to bait me the way that they have - especially OldSkool who has a rather large chip on his shoulder. You're quite active...

I see you have a history. :) I left the Melissa Harris-Perry article be, with no mention at all of her tampon earrings, which I find quite interesting. Millionaire Edit

I made a valid edit on Millionaire. It ORIGINATED in the United Kingdom! Then came to the US as the EXACT same show. Same graphics, same music, same lifelines, same logos, same cash tier, and even almost an exact replica of the original UK stage.

Stop violating Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into articles and stop abusing your rollback rights. --77.70.37.138 (talk) 22:37, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to butt in, but what you are accusing simply didn't occur; your changes were reverted, nothing was added by LM2000 (talk). In my experience, LM2000 (talk) has always acted in good faith. Why are you so passionate about moving an article that has been nominated for deletion anyway? Did you consider the fact that you could interrupt the discussion by moving pages that are under review? —Josh3580talk/hist 22:44, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted the move because the article under its current name is being nominated for deletion and your redirect removed the nomination tag. Also, the page that you redirected it to has previously been undone by someone else. Seems controversial, you may want to request a move. You may want to assume good faith in the future, and also brush up on WP:BLP as Josh points out no BLP violations have occurred here.LM2000 (talk) 22:52, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Pro Wrestling Community

I didn't want to clutter the AfD by asking, but I wanted to ask someone who was a lot more knowledgeable than me regarding this. I didn't even know there was a wrestling community here until recently, and I would like to contribute in whatever way I can, even if it's just helping to clean up/proofread articles. I have found my way to the project page, but beyond the pages listed there, is there any other reading that I should do before contributing to the community? Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide this neophyte! RaveBlack (talk) 07:31, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for replying to me, and for that page on sources. That seems to be the thing that trips me up in attempting to contribute here beyond just proofreading. Too much time on TVTropes leads one to believe that everything has merit. I have an additional question regarding them: is there an official stance regarding the use of social media as a source, like an official Twitter or Facebook account? One of my past edits was reverted due to attempting to use an official Twitter account as a source, and it wasn't really explained how it wasn't valid then.
I understand fully how bad this all looks. I really should be more active, and now that I'm learning what to do and how not to look ridiculous in the process, I'm sure I can be. And even I thought that it was odd how people seemed to appear out of nowhere to vote. RaveBlack (talk) 05:39, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I now have a lot of reading to do. Thanks again! RaveBlack (talk) 05:57, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

April 2014

I understand where you're coming from, but the subject of the discussion was whether the urban legend the film bears so many similarities to should be mentioned on the page. That is an appropriate subject for discussion on the talk page per Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. I've left the wipe and will re-phrase the issue more succinctly, because the discussion better resembled an argument. I would ask however, in the future that you try to be more clear on the issue being discussed before making such a wipe. Thank you. MjolnirPants Tell me all about it. 04:01, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree that my initial remark was not productive, however I didn't remove it myself both because it began a discussion, and because I am leery of removing my own words from a discussion, as the act reeks of deception. I believe than any civility issues I may have had began and ended with that remark, however it is difficult to engage someone as confrontational as that IP editor without the appearance of loosing one's cool. I have already re-phrased my opinion on the talk page, if you wish to involve yourself in the discussion. MjolnirPants Tell me all about it. 04:29, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

(professional wrestling) -> (wrestling)

I saw you sorta proposed moving the articles as so, and so did InedibleHulk. I support that as well. If anyone of you is willing to propose it after the current requested move fails, I compiled a list. Controversial ones like Referee (professional wrestling) are at the top and might not be wise to move those. starship.paint ~ regal 07:33, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry about Cruiserweight. Unlike boxing and MMA, wrestling weight classes have boring names like "66 kg" and "84 kg". The Authority is probably safe, too. Amateur wrestling's authority is called FILA. The (WCW) and (TNA) bits are probably enough for Team Canada. InedibleHulk (talk) 19:38, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
Apparently, FILA's called United World Wrestling now. Sounds sort of fake. InedibleHulk (talk) 19:41, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
Sounds totally "professional", heh. I have already inserted a note at the top of the Authority pointing to UWW. starship.paint ~ regal 23:35, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Great work as always starship. One that stands out for me is Shoot (professional wrestling), which should probably stay where it is so it is not confused with Shoot wrestling.LM2000 (talk) 21:43, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, "shooting" in wrestling wrestling means going for a takedown. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:44, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
Updated the list. LM2000 do you agree with Hulk's explanation for Cruiserweight? starship.paint ~ regal 23:35, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have much of an issue with it as the MMA Cruiserweight article was deleted for being not notable enough, so the professional wrestling article is the only Cruiserweight wrestling article extant, unless you count boxing for some reason.LM2000 (talk) 03:28, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Right. List finalized then? Only five pages won't be moved. starship.paint ~ regal 04:02, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Feedback's suggestion for Pinfall was a good one. Besides that I think we're just about finalized.LM2000 (talk) 05:15, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hulk brought up that pinfall only refers to a successful 1, 2, 3, instead of any unsuccessful pin. Therefore, pin should stay. I got Team Canada (WCW) moved. 1 down, 999 to go. starship.paint ~ regal 05:41, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the Cruiserweight article, it seems we should do something about that title. Of all the championships listed, few are called that. "Light Heavyweight" seems the most common, or "Junior". But yeah, no rush. InedibleHulk (talk) 05:32, September 25, 2014 (UTC)
InedibleHulk - I thought this division's greatest exposure was through WCW/WWF/WWE. List of WWE Cruiserweight Champions says "WCW/WWF/WWE Cruiserweight Championship" from 1996–2007. While other promotions have other names, I'm not sure their terms have had the same exposure. starship.paint ~ regal 05:41, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
"Was", definitely. Today, not so much. The Internet has opened up a whole world beyond regularly scheduled programming. But aside from that, when people are reading that particular article, they'll be exposed to all the names. So that article's title should reflect the article's content.
On the other hand, despite the list, the Promotions section content obviously couldn't be less concerned about any of the twelve current divisions that aren't TNA, or the other ten defunct ones (that's even counting the NWA as one). So by that math, "Cruiserweight" has 66% and is fine, I suppose. InedibleHulk (talk) 20:31, September 26, 2014 (UTC)

Bayley and the rest were closed at not moved, I'd say we have a green light to start a new move request. Tag InedibleHulk. I started Talk:Blading (professional wrestling)#Requested moves for the first 20. starship.paint ~ regal 13:53, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think the (wrestling) side makes a very good case, and see no reason not to hope for full progress. InedibleHulk (talk) 23:34, October 6, 2014 (UTC)
I agree with Hulk, there's still a good chance the move will happen. If it doesn't we can talk about it then.LM2000 (talk) 15:04, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I declined the speedy - it indicated some significance, at least by being about three WWE guys. Please feel free to take it to AfD - if the usual outcome for tag teams is that they get deleted, the article still should go through the process.

Very long

The good (or bad, it's how you view it) thing is - I don't think Bryan minds putting Reigns over. There was a leaked video of Bryan rehearsing a promo earlier this month and he was asking the writer if he was describing Reigns properly for the promo. Plus, Bryan is the least ambitious person in the world - WWE gave him a personality test. (I should add this to his article) All he wants to do is wrestle on SmackDown and make SmackDown relevant again. (I already added this to his article) starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 08:23, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It's unfortunate that the corporate bureaucracy is failing to deliver the goods that the fans want but the man himself being happy regardless is a plus. I can't remember the last time I watched SmackDown to be honest so hopefully he can set that sail in a better direction. Nevertheless, great work on the articles as always Starship.LM2000 (talk) 04:15, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary could be per [[Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Archive 85#Marketing terminology/Peacock terms]], avoid using "Superstars" / "Divas" as much as possible starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 10:15, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I knocked out quite a few but I'm headed to bed now. I may resume later.LM2000 (talk) 11:01, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • A belated thanks for your congratulations, LM2000, since I was away on holiday. You should try getting a GA/FA yourself. Just try following the current FA articles. I'd be willing to advise more. Actually, I've lost a lot of interest in editing, because I need to focus on my personal goals more. My time is up, your time is now? starship.paint ~ ¡Olé! 04:02, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My edits

Stop undoing my edits please. If they were vandalism, ClueBot would've acted, but since he didn't my edits aren't vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.208.217.254 (talk) 18:17, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Anonymous Raw General Manager

The article Anonymous Raw General Manager has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:GNG. All sources are WP:ROUTINE match results or a blog entry. Possibly redirect to Professional wrestling authority figures.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your warning

The content of the post is irrelevant. You removed someone else post on a Wikipedia space talk page. Highly frowned upon. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 20:53, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm talking to LM. Kindly butt out, thank you. Curse of Fenric (talk) 23:57, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
