An eruv chatzerot (Hebrew: עירוב חצרות), commonly known in English as a community eruv, is a symbolic boundary that allows Jews who observe the traditional rules concerning Shabbat to carry certain items outside of their homes that would otherwise be forbidden during Shabbat.

This is a list of places that have eruvin, both historic and modern, that are or were rabbinically recognized.

All big towns and shtetls in pre-war Poland had an eruv, if you were to research the towns and hamlets that today lay in the area of what was the pre-war Second Polish RP, you would find that every location even the smallest of villages as small into today's population as a thousand had a functional eruv up until 1939.
