Cherukupalli is an administrative mandal and village panchayat under Tenali Revenue Division in Guntur District of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The administrative seat of this mandal is located at Cherukupalli village. It is located along National Highway 214A (India). As per 2011 census, the mandal has population of 60,385 persons.Historically, Arumbaka minor panchayat is the main village and Cherukupalli is still written as Arumbaka Sivaru Cherukupalli in Revenue and Census records.[2]

Government and politics
Cherukupalli gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[3][4] The panchayat has a total of 14 wards and each ward is represented by an elected ward member.[5] The ward members are headed by a sarpanch and the present sarpanch is Devarakonda Sridevi.[6][7]
