Yahoo Together is a freeware and cross-platform messaging service, developed by Yahoo!. It is available for the mobile platforms Android and iOS,[3] but lacks a desktop or web version.

The software was introduced in beta on May 8, 2018 under the name Yahoo Squirrel as the replacement of Yahoo! Messenger.[4][5] In October 2018 it was renamed to its present name.[6]

Yahoo Together is targeted to families and the consumer market rather than enterprise.[7]

Reception

It has been compared to Slack.[8]
