Ways to improve Richard Saucedo

Hi, I'm PamD. Thanks for creating Richard Saucedo!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please expand this one-sentence stub: the source you have given gives plenty to work from. Really "X is an American composer" is not adequate for an encyclopedia article - but it's a start, thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

"whitewashing" (sic)

I don't think much can be done if no good faith is assumed and we are falsely accused of trying to "whitewash" the article by reflecting reliable third-party sources accurately.Zigzig20s (talk) 14:41, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section hidden note

On June 11 you added a hidden note (amended June 14) to the lead section of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections after closing the related RFC. I appreciate that you added the note, but as edit warring commenced soon after you adding the note and as the RFC has been partially overridden by a new consensus, it soon became obsolete. Would you kindly remove the note? Thanks. Politrukki (talk) 22:33, 9 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Politrukki: Can you point me to the consensus that overrides my note? THE DIAZ talkcontribs 00:20, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) Inappropriate WP:HIDDEN text can be removed at any time by any editor. Local consensus does not trump WP:NPOV and, as Politrukki has pointed out, WP:CCC and WP:OWN apply. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:36, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Examples of cases where an editor has closed a discussion, declared consensus, and no editor has challenged the consensus can be seen here and here.
What should we do when someone adds new content to the lead – let's say that it's something which violates policies such as OR, V, or NPOV – should we just obey the note and dismiss these policies? Most regulars will probably just ignore the note, but will the note prevent non-regulars from doing improvements? Politrukki (talk) 16:37, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Post on Jared Taylor

Hey, I promise, I'm not threatening here, but I think your statement on the Jared Taylor RfC could easily interpreted as a legal threat. If you think something is libelous, you should follow the directions at the bottom of the WP:LIBEL and email the Wikimedia foundation. For the moment, you should probably strike the comments about legal issues, and just focus on the core content policies. Nblund talk 22:28, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
