The Montana Libertarian Party is the Montana affiliate of the Libertarian Party. Ron Vandevender became the State Chair after the October 2016 death of Mike Fellows. Elinor Swanson served as chair following Ron Vandevender's resignation in May 2017. Michael Fucci was elected as Chair on September 9, 2017.

In 2012 Fellows made history by becoming the first Libertarian in national LP history to achieve 40 percent in a partisan statewide race. [1]

Past members

Past leaders have included Larry Dodge and Mike Fellows.[2] Don Doig was a candidate who ran in 1982.[3]
