KAJR-LD is a digital low-powered television station located in Baxter, Iowa, and serving the Des Moines, Iowa market. The station is owned by HC2 Holdings, which also owns KCYM-LD. The station broadcasts its digital signal on UHF channel 36 from a transmitter located near Baxter, Iowa. [1]

History

The station’s construction permit was issued on October 10, 2012 under the calls of K36MR-D, which was then changed to KAJR-LD.[2]
