Market Place by Jasons (for Hong Kong), Jasons Market Place (for Singapore and Taiwan) or Jasons Food Hall (for Malaysia) is a high end chain supermarket in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, owned by Dairy Farm Group. It is the sister company of Wellcome.[1]

History

"Jasons Market Place" started its business in Singapore in 1975. It was introduced in Taiwan in 2003.[2][3] In 2007, it opened in Hong Kong's Jardine's Lookout under the name "Market Place by Jasons".[4][5] In 2012, Jasons Food Hall began operations in Bangsar Shopping Centre, an upmarket shopping mall in the township of Bangsar, as a replacement for a Cold Storage store.[6] Jasons Market Place in Taiwan was sold to Carrefour in 2020.[7][8]
