BredaMenarinibus S.p.A. was a bus manufacturer based in Bologna, Italy. The company was established in 1987 through the merger of the bus and coach divisions of "Breda Bus", Carrozzeria Menarini and InBus.
From 1989 to 2014, BredaMenarinibus was 100% owned by the Finmeccanica Group. Since 2015, it has been owned by IIA - Industria Italiana Autobus S.p.A., with an accompanying name change to Menarinibus. In January 2018, twenty Menarinibus Citymood buses started service with Euro 6 engines.[1]
In January 2015, Finmeccanica sold the BredaMenarinibus to the newly established Industria Italiana Autobus, 80% owned by Tevere SpA (formerly King Long Italia ) and 20% by Finmeccanica itself.[2]
