Dhaka is a town and a notified area in the district of East Champaran in the state of Bihar, India.Dhaka is Nagar Panchayat that is divided into number of wards.It comes under Sikrhana subdividison. In the last 10-15 years Dhaka emerged as the market place for its nearby area.it is very close to bordee of Nepal . Here people of all religion lives here but this is a muslim populated area .

Geography
Dhaka is located at 26°41′N 85°10′E / 26.68°N 85.17°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 55 metres (180 feet). Its boundary touches with Nepal, sitamari, sheohar.
Political history
Dhaka is famous for leader like Late Motiur Rahman who was MLA during early 1990s, and became Rajya Sabha MP in 2004. He died in 2007. Apart from him, many politicians such as Anwarul Haque, Nek mohammad, Pawan Jaiswal, Faisal Rahman are from this area. Pawan Jaisawal was MLA of Dhaka from 2010 -2015 . Now the present MLA is faisal rehman of rastriye jantal dal . As a MLA pawan jaiswal started a very good and appreciable tradition of group marriage 'samuhik vivah' . In his first year 75 were got married then 101 couole then 125 couple got benefited from this policy .
