INS Visakhapatnam is the lead ship of the Template:Sclass- stealth guided-missile destroyers of the Indian Navy. She is being constructed at Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL), and has been launched on 20 April 2015. The ship is expected to be commissioned by 2018.[2]

The keel of Visakhapatnam was laid down on 12 October 2013 and she was launched on 20 April 2015 at Mazagon Dock Limited of Mumbai.[3][4][5][6]
