The Kongo languages are a clade of Bantu languages coded Zone H.10 in Guthrie's classification. According to Nurse & Philippson (2003), apart from Kunyi, Suundi and Vili the languages form a valid node. They are:

Beembe (Pangwa, Doondo, Kamba, Hangala), Ndingi, Mboka, Kongo, Western Kongo, Laari (Laadi), Yombe
