The Malay and Islamic World Museum (Malay: Muzium Dunia Melayu Dunia Islam) is a museum in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia.[1][2]
History
The museum is housed in the Bastion House building which was built in 1910. The building used to house the British rubber company Dunlop until 1986.
Architecture
The building has the English architectural elements, which is the rectangular shape design with deep slanted roofs.[3]
Exhibitions
The museum displays the information of the spread of Islam in the world, important and historical Muslim figures, important Islamic buildings, artifacts, traditional dress etc.[4]
