The Ministry for Culture of Russia (Russian: Министерство культуры Российской Федерации; Минкультуры России) is a Russian Federal Ministry in the Russian Government that responsible for state policy in Cultural spheres, Art, Cinematography, archives, and inter-nations issues.

Structure

Formed in May 2, 2008 on basic of the Ministry for Culture and Mass Media (Министерство культуры и массовых коммуникаций Российской Федерации).[2] In the past, the Culture Ministry was operated between 1953-1992, and 1992-2004 (While between March and September 1992 the ministry was known as Ministry for Culture and Tourism (Министерство культуры и туризма Российской Федерации).

  • Federal Service for Supervision over Culture (Федеральная служба по надзору за соблюдением законодательства в области охраны культурного наследия; Росохранкультура), Dissolved in 2011.
  • Federal Archive Agency (Федеральное архивное агентство; Росархив)
